Placements are good. They offer good salary packages.
Placements: Placements are good and have been better in the last two to three years. Top recruiters are Infosys, Dalkin, Royal Enfield, JCB Escorts, etc. Many companies are visiting our college. Students are getting placed in companies with good salary packages.
Infrastructure: The college has very bad infrastructure. The infrastructure can be better. The college needs improvement. The boy's hostel is not available in our college. The girl's hostel is available on the campus. The campus was very small and the mess food was average.
Faculty: Teachers are staff members are good and helpful. Students can score very good marks in the college. They are very helpful to the students. They were never dissatisfied. They are always ready to answer students' questions.
Other: Overall campus was small and can have better infrastructure .

Reasons to choose or to not choose YMCA for your bachelors.
Placements: The percentage of students getting placed in B.Sc. life science is very low. They offer some placements for master's. Specific roles in research and development are provided, such as biotech companies. I would suggest not doing your masters from YMCA, the reason is labs, and less number of placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Lab conditions are certainly concerning as some of the chemical, and equipments are not available. The library is amazing, you can easily get a book, its peaceful and has a studious environment. You can enjoy the cafeteria, and the food is just okay. Sports and medical facilities are good.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly experienced. They have also evolved in various research work and development. They are well-educated and provide the best knowledge. It makes students industry-ready. The curriculum is relevant. The difficulty of exam is moderate. You should study as it is and it is not tough to pass the exam, if you study well. To pass the exam you need to get 30 marks out of 75.
Other: I chose this course to get a wider range of opportunities in my masters. The best things are teachers and the curriculum/syllabus, now I have a lot of basic knowledge about different course like biotechnology, botany, zoology, and microbiology. I wish the labs could have been more better, and they are working on it. Talking about events and fests, there are different communities and clubs that organises events, they are fun. You can get scholarships, some students also get 100% scholarships, and some 30% depending on the caste and merit.

I am dissatisfied with the faculty members. There is no enjoyment.
Placements: There is no guarantee that we will get a placement for sure. If we put efforts on our own, we will get placed. Even a few teachers are supporting as well, but some are just motivate on their own and motivate others as well. There is a chance of placement up to 60-70%.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is zero, and still, it is in the development stage after so many years. There is a good electric supply. There is no boys' hostel, but a girls' hostel is available, which is very disappointing. The food offered is very bad, so we can't handle it.
Faculty: Faculty members are not good. They just want us to reappear in exams. About the curriculum, there is no such word in this college. Exams are very strict, and we should just obey all rules, and they will fail students in the internals. There is nothing good about this college.
Other: There is no fest, no entertainment, and just studying.

Review of J. C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA.
Placements: Our college doesn't provide any jobs or placements for the B.Sc. course in life science. The infrastructure of our college is not very good. They lack many things like faculty for students and education. The placement structure of our college is not good.
Infrastructure: The structure of the course is like a dismantled car. We don't understand what our college is doing with us and what they give and teach us. Our exam fee per semester is Rs. 30,000.
Faculty: About exams of YMCA The exams conducted in the university is good because they have a seperate building name CV Raman which is good for doing and writing exam Because that building has a very good and very silent environment to study and to write exams.
Other: Exams are conducted in the university. They are good because they have a separate building named CV Raman, which is good for writing exams. This building is very good. It has a peaceful environment to study and write exams.

Review of J. C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA.
Placements: The placement opportunity is just average. Reality is, almost no companies came for the placement on the campus, and few companies hire well-skilled students only. Companies visited are Toonz India, etc., and they offer a very high package for placement as fresher. But you have to learn skills on your own.
Infrastructure: The hostel condition is very bad from my experience. Most of the students eat food outside the mess, and they struggle even to meet the basic needs in the hostel. In the hostel premise, they don't have any facility, and they close the hostel after 6 pm, so you have to skip classes for outside work.
Faculty: The faculty staff is just average; they don't have that good knowledge, even still you have to learn other than the curriculum. The course does not include any industrial program. Exams are mainly based on teaching in the class and referred textbooks. You have to attend all the classes to get good marks.

Review of J. C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA.
Placements: To be honest, there are almost no placement opportunities in this particular course. You have to work as an intern or opt for higher education. Most of the students placed are in irrelevant fields to the course. If you want placement, then you have to learn skills outside the curriculum.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good as of now as they are newly added. Most of the labs are well-equipped, and most of the area is recently developed. The classroom size is quite large. They have both boys' and girls' hostels, but students still take flats/PGs outside the college.
Faculty: The teaching staff is newly appointed; only a few of them have good teaching experience, and most of the staff are Ph.D. scholars. The exams happen in sessionals and end semesters. The average of two sessionals + end sem exam gives the total score. You have to score a minimum of 10 in sessionals and 30 in end semesters to pass.
