Good college and best faculty.
Placements: Placement of the college is just average. Most of the student in the college are doing the course for the higher education so they go for placement. You can easily get a ppo as there is no competition. The highest placement is about 7 LPA. And almost 30% student are placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well developed and they have every research related lab in the campus building. They made a dedicated area only for research. They even organises an expert lecture on the latest technology in field. Hostel is good but they don't give even to student living at 300km radius.
Faculty: Curriculum is well designed. They have added new subject in the course. Exam are relatively hard but they are mostly on what taught in the class. YOU have to get atleast 40% in both sessional and endsemexam to pass in the subject. But for maintaining good CGPA you have to study hard.

Very bad college and no intellectual development.
Placements: There are no placement-oriented programs available for any bachelor courses in the college. The majority of students pursue these degrees for higher education or to prepare for government exams. However, a few companies do visit the campus and offer salaries of around 3-4 LPA to bachelor students.
Infrastructure: The level of development in the infrastructure is not significantly advanced. Presently, the campus area is experiencing a high level of congestion due to extensive construction work taking place in most parts of the area. The boys' hostel has been temporarily closed down, and a new building is being constructed, resulting in the residents having to reside outside the campus premises.
Faculty: The faculty enforces rules and regulations rigorously, often treating students as if they are still in school. Participation in extracurricular activities and clubs is discouraged as they are seen as time-wasting endeavors. Students are not encouraged to think creatively or outside the box.

Bridging theory and practice.
Placements: Placement at JC Boss University of Science and Technology is quite good. However, for the B.Sc. Physics (H) course that I have taken, I am not interested in placements because I want to pursue higher studies in Physics. Thus, I am not very aware of the placement scenario. According to my understanding, the average package for B.Tech students is approximately 6-7 Lacs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is wonderful. There are many different blocks for various degrees. For instance, there is a mechanical block for B.Tech mechanical students and a CV Raman block for B.Sc. students. Additionally, there is a vast playing ground where students engage in sports and interact with each other. Being from Faridabad, I do not require information regarding hostels, so I have limited information to share on that front.
Faculty: The teachers are very cooperative and helpful. There are different teachers for different departments, and each department has approximately 15-20 Ph.D. qualified teachers, some of whom are Ph.D. scholars. As the semester lasts for 6 months, there are 2 sessionals held during that period. Lab sessions are regular, with two lab classes of 2 hours each per week. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate, and the pass percentage ranges from 70% to 80%.
Other: I chose my B.Sc. from this college because of its ranking. As we know, this university is accredited with an 'A+' grade by NAAC. However, not all the equipment required for our experiments is present in the labs. Events organized by the university are not particularly popular, although occasions like ethnic days are celebrated.

Supportive faculty and many facilities are available here.
Placements: Most of the students don't take part in placements, so they don't have a very developed placement program. But still, a few companies come for placements, but most of them offer lower positions. They offer about 4-5 LPA packages, and you have very little competition.
Infrastructure: They have a very good hostel, but hours to get outside the hostel are very limited. They have a different building for every department, and they have every lab related to your course. They have a ground area, and it has two basketball courts, two volleyball courts, and a football field.
Faculty: Faculty are very supportive. Most of the teachers are PhDs, and they even graduated from well-known institutions. They have a very good training program. Even if you get placed in the last year, you can get NOC and opt out of the college after completing the semester.

A very poor college with the worst infrastructure.
Placements: There is no placement program for the bachelor of science in physics, so students have to pursue higher education, find work in education, or opt for government exams. Most companies that visit the college are looking for candidates from B.Tech courses, and the opportunities for B.Sc. graduates are limited.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is inadequate, with a small college accommodating too many courses. The college keeps increasing the intake of students each year, making it challenging to provide proper facilities. Hostel conditions, especially for girls, are subpar, with poor food quality and accommodation.
Faculty: The faculty does not provide much assistance, and students often resort to online courses or YouTube videos for better understanding. Exams can be challenging, making it difficult to achieve top grades even with consistent effort throughout the semester. Some faculty members may not be relevant to the course.

YMCU is not yet made the announcement of fresh cutoff B.Sc (Hons) Physics for 2024. Reviews of past cutoffs indicate that they would be very high-the same next year.
