I am satisfied by my college, good placement, infrastructure was good, everything was fine there.

Placements: 20 percent good companies were there to hire the students and the interview was also quite tough. The highest was 8 Lacs, minimum was 4 Lacs. ABP, News18, India TV, etc. are the top recruiters. Advertisement, broadcasting, journalism, anchor, newspapers, and printing press are the top roles.

Infrastructure: The facilities were too good in Haryana. It was the biggest studio we got for learning. The techniques, machines, and information were fully provided. In sports, every type of club was there to join. NCC was also there in our college and classrooms are big.

Faculty: The teachers were highly qualified, mostly teachers have done Ph.D. and they were very knowledgeable and helpful to provide the information. Yes, this course is industry-ready, it has very good scope and jobs. The semester exams were quite tough but overall it was a good experience. The pass percentage was 40.

Other: I have chosen this course because I have seen good scope in this and good career opportunities and some of my friends guided me about it. In YMCA, extracurricular activities were there, mostly clubs were there and Radio Drishya, many clubs.

Placements: More than 50 students get placed in this course. The lowest salary offered is Rs.25,000 per month and the highest salary is Rs.50,000 per month. Many companies visited our college in the previous year to offer internships and jobs. Around 15% of students got placed in different companies.

Infrastructure: Our campus is very good and is rated A+ infrastructure-wise. Different labs are available for various courses. Medical facilities and a canteen are available. It has an auditorium to organise events.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, knowledgeable, and well-qualified. Exams are conducted in a proper manner to test the students.

Other: The best thing about our course is it provides a lot of practical skills and knowledge.

College Experience: Opportunities, Challenges & Realities .

Placements: Currently, I am in my first year of college, so I? M still learning about placements. However, I have seen my seniors working at ABP Newslife and other media organizations. The college offers internships, but they are not highly paid, as journalism is a field where experience plays a key role in earning potential.

Infrastructure: The media labs infrastructure is excellent, but the canteen food quality is consistent? Sometimes good, sometimes not. While the toilets are usually clean, there are times when they become very hygienic. And incidents like stay dogs entering the building create disturbances for students.

Faculty: I can? T speak for other courses, but in my department, the faculty is generally good. Some teachers are genuinely helpful, sharing their knowledge and experiences with us, while others maintain a more distant approach? Focusing only on their work and leaving once their job is done. However, the supportive teachers make a significant difference in our learning experience.

Other: I chose this course because, since 6th standard, I have been passionate about public speaking and journalism. I am also very good at anchoring. While our college has many clubs, there is only one dedicated to media students, but favoritism is quite evident there, with only a few students getting opportunities. However, I believe that challenges exist everywhere, and if you are truly passionate about your work, you will find a way to succeed regardless of your surroundings.
