No, you cannot become a lawyer without a Law degree. You mandatorily need to obtain degrees such as BA/BCom/BSc/BBA LLB or LLB in order to be a lawyer in India. To be eligible for the BTech programme at Joy University the aspiring candidates should have completed Class 12 with compulsory subjects, including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English, with a minimum aggregate of 60% in PCM, with no less than 50% in each of these subjects. Admission is based on JOYAT.
Joy University offers a full-time 3 year BSc course in more than 20 specialisation. The total tuition fee of the BSc course ranges from INR 2.40 Lacs to INR 4.50 lakh. Candidates need to fulfil the basic eligibility criteria to be able to apply for the course. The criteria is that the candidate must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board with a minimum of 60% in aggregate marks and a minimum of 50% in every subject (Biology, Mathematics /Statistics, Physics and Chemistry).
Joy University BTech admission is based on marks obtained in JOYAT or JEE Main, followed by counselling. Candidates who have secured more than 80 percentile in the JEE Main exam are eligible for direct admission. Candidates must also fulfil the basic eligibility criteria to be able to apply for the course.
