JU Chancellor Scholarship
Number of Scholarships: 100
I) Based on JEE Rank and CUET (UG) percentile:
Eligibility and Scholarship Amount:
- Candidates with JEE Rank 1 - 50000 and CUET (UG) > 90 percentile, will get 100% concession in Tuition fees.
- Candidates with JEE Rank 50001 - 100000 and CUET (UG) 81-90 percentile, will get 70% concession in Tuition fees.
- Candidates with JEE Rank 100001 - 200000 and CUET (UG) 71-80 percentile, will get 60% concession in Tuition fees.
II) Based on Rank in State Boards
Eligibility and Scholarship Amount:
- State first rank in 10+2 of respective state boards or CBSE within India- 100% concession in Tuition fees
- District topper in 10+2 in Tamil Nadu State Board or CBSE within Tamil Nadu- 100% concession in Tuition fees
Renewal criteria:
- Must apply every year within the stipulated date
- Must possess a minimum CGPA of 8.0
- No arrears/backlogs at the time of application
- No break of study or detention or disciplinary action/malpractice
JU Merit Scholarship
Number of Scholarships: 30
Eligibility and Scholarship Amount:
Candidates who have scored 90% and above in PCM / PCB in +2 will get 75% concession in Tuition fees.
JU – Sports Scholarship
Number of Scholarships: 25
Exemplary sports persons representing University / District (Province)/ Zone/ State/ National / International will get upto 100 % concession in Tuition fees for National/ International representation
upto 70 % concession in Tuition fees for State/Zone representation and Upto 60 % concession in tuition fees for District representation.
Must approach the Director - Admission, for trials / selection. Qualifying in the trials / selection is a prerequisite for admission.
Renewal criteria:
-Must apply every year within the stipulated date
-Must possess a minimum CGPA of 6.0
-No arrears / backlogs at the time of application
-No break of study or detention or disciplinary action/malpractice
