JSS Science and Technology University Aadmission process is online. Candidates have to fill the oline application form to apply to their desired programme. Find below the detailed application process:

Step 1: Candidates have to first complete the Registration process (which creates ‘User Name’ and ‘Password’ for you) for creating a profile.

Step 2: Now re-login to the system using your ‘User Name’ and ‘Password: DOB’

Step 3: Enter the Activation code send through e-mail and SMS

Step 4: Once done, you will have acess to the Admission Form online. Fill it with all the required details.

Step 5: Upload your recent passport size Photograph and Signature (maximum size 500KB in JPG format).

Upload your specimen signature (maximum size 500KB in JPG format).
Upload scanned copies of the relevant documents (maximum size 500KB for each document in JPG/PDF format).

Step 6: Make a payment of the application fee through Credit/Debit card/Net Banking.

A payment confirmation message is sent to you through SMS and email.

Step 7: After Payment Confirmation, you may download the Acknowledgement and keep a printout for your record.

Step 8: Candidates login credentials are provided by the university through a registered E-mail id and phone number.

Best college in Mysore and well-rated.

Placements: Placements are good enough for the Mechanical department. Good companies visit the campus, including Mercedes, Bosch, and other top companies. They conduct alumni talks and help students get placed in their companies. The college is one of the best in terms of placements and training.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and carries the old legacy of the 90s era. The hostel facilities are good and include all the required amenities. The canteens are reasonably priced, and the people on campus are friendly and help without hesitation. Overall, the infrastructure is good enough.

Faculty: Faculty members are excellent in terms of teaching and helping students. The exams are moderately difficult, as it is a core branch. The internal examinations are easy to score in, which helps students maintain a good CGPA. The curriculum is well-structured. The lessons and objectives are good for each academic year.

I personally don't hate the faculty members. Some are good, and some are bad.

Placements: About 70-80% of students get placed. The highest this year is about 40-45 LPA, and the lowest was about 3 LPA. The average came out to be 11-12 LPA, with top recruiters being Morgan Stanley, Cisco, JP Morgan, and more banking firms. Top roles are SDE, data analyst, data scientists, and even management roles.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi doesn't work most of the time in the hostel, labs still use really old equipment, classrooms are just typical of a school, and the library is the only decent place. Hostel food is as bad as it gets, not just in taste but also in quality and even quantity (won't give more than 2 chapatis). Medical facilities are scarce. Sports facilities, though, aren't half bad.

Faculty: Teachers are mostly knowledgeable and qualified, except for a few who think they own the college. The syllabus in the first year is heavily outdated. The college has legacy placements mostly, and the curriculum doesn't help at all, in my opinion. Sem exams aren't hard to pass.

Good for people who want more time outside of college

Placements: In the CSE course, about 80% students got placed in the last batch of our department. The highest package is about 48 LPA. The average is between 10 and 12 LPA. The lowest is 3.2 LPA. Top recruiters are Morgan Staley, Akamai, TCS, and Infosys. About 20 to 30% of students get a paid internship. Top roles include Software developer engineer 1, Product manager, and Marketing team member.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are quite good. As first-year students, we are allotted the old Polymer Science department building, which is indeed an old building, but the newer buildings are high-tech and well-maintained. Wi-Fi is good, but not so strong inside the classrooms. We have a big library with good ventilation. As for hostel food, it is manageable, and we are given all the sports facilities, and the hospital is within the campus.

Faculty: Teaching quality is quite good, and most of the faculty members are well-known and experienced in the field. The course curriculum is not so industry-ready, as in the AI era, we are betrayed by the Python language, which is necessary today. Semester exams are not so easy as the evaluators are very strict in this case.

Other: I chose this course since I wanted to study in Mysuru. The best thing about my course would be the class timings, as we have plenty of time to learn different things. A slight improvement in the curriculum by adding AI subjects from the first year may improve the course. They conduct one of Karnataka's biggest fests. The campus is big and well-connected to the city. Extracurricular activities include clubs and events that are organised.

Campus life is good, placements are great, and infrastructure is very nice.

Placements: 80% of students get placed on our campus, and the highest is 15 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies are BMW and Mercedes. Around 60% of students will get internships in top companies like BMW. Designing is the top role offered, and also fabrication.

Infrastructure: We have all the infrastructure in our college, including Wi-Fi, classrooms, libraries, and a reference room. It is really calm to study in the reference room and library. The quality of food can be improved in the hostel. Sports and games are good; we have various games to play.

Faculty: Teachers are friendly and approachable, not all, but many. Most of them are extremely knowledgeable, and they will teach us in a very systematic way so that we can understand. Semester exams are easy, as we have all the notes required, and the pass percentage is high.

Other: I opted for this course because placements for girls are high, and nothing else is good. Many events will be happening on the campus.

Infrastructure is good, but not in all branches of our college.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. In our course, there is almost 60-80 percent. The highest package in our college is around 60 LPA. The lowest package is around 3-4 LPA, and the average package is around 10-12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and others. The students got internships in Accenture, Infosys, and Wipro (85% students got internship opportunities). Top roles offered are data analyst, jobs related to cybersecurity, and software engineering.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department is very good. We have well-sophisticated labs and also a good wi-fi network, and the classrooms are also large, and we have a digital library. Hostel facilities are not up to the mark. The food quality is quite good. I don't know about medical facilities, but many sports events will be organised every year.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and have good knowledge. The teaching in our college is average to high level. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students ready to there industry, but some topics are so outdated. The semester exams are medium to easy level, and the passing percentage is around 45%. Faculty members in our college are good.

Other: I have so much interest in coding for the last 3 years, so I joined this course. It is more interesting. They have to update the syllabus according to current trends. Jaciana is the name of the fest which is celebrated in our college. The campus surroundings are calm and cool.

Our college is in Mysore. So it is a calm place. I love it here.

Placements: 70-80 percent of students got placed from our college. Top recruiting companies for ISE are basically Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and many others. Our college gives more and more opportunities regarding placements but nowadays the placement percentage has decreased by 2-3 percent. The highest package in our college is around 60 LPA, the median salary is around 10 LPA-12 LPA, and the lowest package is around 4 LPA. 90 percent of students get internships in Infosys, Wipro, TCS and many. Top roles in our course are regarding software engineering, web development, and data analysis.

Infrastructure: Our college is well-developed when it comes to infrastructure. We have good Wi-Fi, well-facilitated labs, and classrooms. The library is awesome and now it is digitalised. The hostel facilities are also quite good. Food in the hostel is also in an acceptable range.

Faculty: The teachers are really very helpful. They are graduates and qualified. They have better knowledge of their subjects. The teaching is also okay. Our curriculum is slightly outdated. But it also contains many things according to the new or current trend. The semester is also quite difficult. The pass percentage is around 40 percent.

Other: I lost the seat in medical and then I had a good ranking in CET so I joined the course. This course contains more creativity. They must improve the curriculum. An event named Jaciana will happen every year which is one of the biggest college events in Karnataka.
