Candidates have to first apply for the entrance exam required for the preferred course. KNRUHS selects candidates for most of the programmes based on their entrance exam scores. The university accepts NEET-UG, NEET-PG, NEET-SS and other entrance exams for admission to specific courses. KNRUHS releases a provisional merit list or cutoff based on rank of the candidate in the accepted entrance exam. Selected candidates are called for the counselling rounds. Once selected, candidates are called for document verification and fee payment.

KNRUHS offers admission on the basis of valid Class 12 for UG level courses and graduation for PG level courses. In addition to this, candidates must secure valid scores in accepted entrance exams. Furthermore, candidates who are successfully shortlisted for the admission process must appear for counselling for the seat allotment. For final admission, candidates must pay the fees and confirm the seat.
