Life at Digital University, Kerala.

Placements: The percentage of electronics students with IoT and robotics placements is very low. However, for other courses like data analytics and machine intelligence, the university provides good placement assistance. They get placed with around 6 LPA to 10 LPA.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are awesome. The whole university is air-conditioned and has world-class laboratories. We also have free internet and classrooms are good. The campus is open 24X7 for all the students. This year onwards hostel facilities are only available for girls, not for boys. Special North Indian, South Indian, veg, and non-veg food are available in the hostel mess.

Faculty: Here, the curriculum is based on practical learning, mainly they call experiential learning which prepares you for the real-world problems that mug up theories. Semester exams here are only 40% of the final result. The rest is continuously evaluated through your performance throughout the semester. The exams here are very difficult.

Other: There will be various fests, events, and talks happening all the time as Wednesday is dedicated to it. There will be no class that day and it is dedicated only to extra-curricular activities.

It is a comfortable campus with great infrastructure.

Placements: Different students of our college work in different companies for data analysis and different computer software. Their maximum salary is 9 Lacs and the minimum salary is 6.5 Lacs per annum. The college has an internship after the two-year course, and the stipend is 5500.

Infrastructure: The college is equipped with many good things where one can have a great time. The college is equipped with free high-speed test quality Wi-Fi. Besides, our college has a library, many classes, and various auditorium rooms. Everything in the college is controlled by the college staff.

Faculty: The teachers here are experienced and highly educated. They look after us very well in terms of studies. The teachers take care of the students in all aspects of their studies. Along with studies, mock tests and class work are conducted here. Here the pass rate is more than 90 percent because all the syllabus is taught here.

My College experience .

Placements: Placement opportunities are not available from college side. 30-40% senior got placed in my course. The highest package was 8 LPA for last year, average 4 LPA & the lowest 2.5 LPA. 8-9 companies visited only for recruitment. Through college only 10% got internship in our batch in the college project only. Roles offered are Security analyst etc.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is good, girls hostel is also good. Wi-Fi, lab, classroom, library everything you can avail in night also. Hostel facilities are very good, it's a 2 seater room. Wi-Fi, mess facility & all other facility are available. Mess food is okay, medical facility is also available. You can also issue sports items.

Faculty: Faculty members are good, they are approachable & also knowledgeful here. Teaching methodologies & course curriculum is not that relevant when compared with industry perspective. Our semester exams are not tough, it's easy to pass. 80-90% students pass easily.

Other: DUK provides courses in various cutting edge technology such as cyber security, blockchain, quantum computing that makes the course a choice to choose. Placements opportunities needs to be improved. Annual festivals are celebrated here such as Freshers day, university day, ethnic day etc.

My honest review of my college.

Placements: The college has a training and placement cell that prepares the students for forthcoming interviews for internships and job placements. The top recruiters for the college are TCS, Wipro, Informatics, SUNTEC, etc. Many companies visited our college, like Ranbaxy, etc. Some of the students from Industrial Chemistry were placed, and some students got jobs in coaching institutes.

Infrastructure: There is one large hostel for boys and one hostel for girls, both consisting of a common room. They also have 24-hour Wi-Fi connectivity along with access to newspapers, magazines, and TVs. Round-the-clock water and electricity are available. We have not come to the electives stage that will be given to me in the second year, but in the first year, I have to study all three subjects: physical, organic, and inorganic Chemistry. I will opt for Physical Chemistry as my elective in the second year.

Faculty: The faculty of the college are certified and qualified professionals in the field who have graduated from IITs and international universities and have been former faculty in IITs across India. The course curriculum was pretty decent and elaborate. It covered a wide variety of topics and their practical applications. The practical classes were the most fun, while the guest lectures and seminars were an added plus for us. Guest lectures were more or less centered around the latest advancements and applications happening around us.
