KL (Deemed to be University) offers a four-year course of BTech. This course is taught through the KL College of Engineering across 10 specialisations. Admission to this course is entrance-based. Students can apply via a valid score of either KLEEE (KL Engineering Entrance Examination)/ JEE-Main/ JEE-Advanced/ State Level Engineering Entrance Exams across India including EAMCET/ Uni-GAUGE.
KL University also offers admission to BTech (Lateral Entry) across the same specialisations given for BTech. The duration of this course is three years. In this course, students can get admission to the direct second year of BTech. For admission to BTech (Lateral Entry), aspirants need to appear for any state-specific ECET or KLECET entrance exams.

KL University BTech admission is completely entrance-based. Aspirants need to pass Class 12 with a minimum of 60% aggregate in the respective subjects. For admission to this course, students can qualify for the university's in-house entrance exam or any other state/national-level entrance exam.
