The minimum eligibility for MSc specialisations at Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) is a bachelor's degree in a relevant subject with a minimum aggregate of 50%. For instance, an applicant looking to take up Biochemistry or Biotechnology needs to have a degree in Biological Science; to pursue Computer Science, one should have a BSc in Electronics or any other allied subject. The KSOU offers a BSc programme in a full-time educational mode. It is a three years course divided into six semesters. The university offers a BSc programme in several specialisations. The BSc curriculum is divided into six semesters.
