Tech cutoff 2023, the last round closing rank for BTech Computer Science Engineering stood at 51075 for Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University after Round 8 Seat Allotment result. In 2022, the closing rank for BTech CSE at IET was 23127 and in 2021, it was 35236.

B.E. JEE and/or Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Technical vocational subject. Obtained at least 45% (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) marks in the above subjects taken together.

Get adequate sleep, eat well, and exercise frequently. If necessary, get assistance from the university's counselling centre.

At KTU - APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, the hostel rooms are on a sharing basis, with two or three students sharing a room. Basic services including electricity, furniture in the room, Wi-Fi, and a constant supply of water are available at the hostel.  The quality of the food served in the hostel's mess is good. 

AKTU has maintained a 90% placement record for its students, with the highest placement offer being Rs. 1.13 crore per annum.

Offering salary packages ranging from Rs 1 Lacs per annum to as high as Rs 20 Lacs per annum. The university overall has provided more than 25,000 placement opportunities to over 700 AKTU-affiliated colleges.

KTU University has not released the final placement report for the year 2022. According to the media report, the highest CTC offered to the Engineering students was INR 3.50 LPA, in addition to the first-year retention bonus of INR 1 LPA.
