GEC Thrissur is overall a great college.

Placements: Placements here are pretty good. Mechanical, ECE, and CSE have the highest percentage of students placed, including decent placements in other branches such as civil, EEE, chemical, and production. The highest package is 50 LPA and the average package goes from 10 LPA to 12 LPA. The top recurring company is Walkaroo and many students have been placed there.

Decent overall experience with good care for the children, except for some faculty.

Placements: The placements are decent for a tier 2 college still, it's like in every college. You need a minimum 7.5 CGPA ot get into the placement cell as well, you should not have a minimum of 1 supplementary exam backpaper. I have heard from the seniors that it's decently good.

It is best for placement.

Placements: Practice for placements starts the day of initiation at the college. To practice coding, the LEETCODE platform is shared with all candidates with the necessary credentials, which is very useful for getting placed at companies like Microsoft, Google, TCS, and 30+ top companies. From day 1 of MCA, aptitude and coding training are started.

Evaluations are too strict, and we are fully occupied with studies.

Placements: Students with zero backlogs and high CGPA are given higher priority to attend the drives and placement training. They specially run MBA and tie up with over 20 top companies, which include TCS, Accenture, and Amazon. In a year, 3 to 6 percent of MBA students are placed in top companies with packages above 20 LPA.

The college provides good opportunities.

Placements: In my college, 86% of students get placed in multiple companies like Amazon, Wipro, and HDFC. The highest package is 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 3 LPA. The top roles are Sales Manager and Marketing Manager. Around 72% of students do internships during their academic years.

A good average experience for college life.

Placements: There are no current passouts for our current batch. This is B.Tech in CSE (Data Science) because the first batch is yet to pass out this year. Although our accompanying course, B. Tech in CSE (Artificial Intelligence), has plenty of placements among the passouts. The top role is AI Engineer. Most students are recruited by AI companies or startups.
