- The Karnataka PGCET 2026 application portal is now closed for admission to the MBA, MCA and ME/MTech programmes. The exam for the MCA and MBA courses will be held on May 24, 2026, and for the ME/MTech course, on May 23, 2026.
- The GATE COAP 2026 registration link is active for admission to Phd programme. The GATE COAP 2026 round 1 window to view offers and make a decision will be opened on May 11, 2026 (10 AM).
Kuvempu University Highlights 2025
Kuvempu University was established in 1987 as a state public university. This state university is recognised by UGC and is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities. It has also signed MoUs with several national universities and organisations.
Established in 1987, it comprises 59+ departments that collectively offer 80+ courses. These courses are offered across different levels, including UG, PG, and doctoral levels. All these courses are UGC-approved and are offered across four fields, including Arts, Science, Commerce, Education and Law. The university also offers distance education. Popular courses at Kuvempu University include BA, MA, and MCA. Kuvempu University admissions are based on merit in Karnataka PGCET, JEE Mains, and others for admission to all undergraduate and postgraduate courses. - Library: During its excellent setup of academic activities, the library acts as a nerve center catering to the academic and research needs of the students, the researchers and the faculty members of post-graduate departments, covering Science, Social Science, and Humanities, engaged in the higher pursuit of knowledge and has a collection of 1,20,960 books, 224 periodicals, 6,165 back volumes of periodicals, and 3,633 theses.
- Wifi Facilities: The Kuvempu University campus is well equipped with LAN and WiFi facilities provided to, all the buildings including hostels, guest house, auditorium, etc. The university has 80+ secured WiFi devices through which WiFi can be accessed. Students of all the departments are enrolled with authentication to access WiFi facilities within the campus.
- Canteen: The university campus possesses a well-maintained and hygienic canteen with a seating capacity of approximately 50 students at a time. The canteen also provides catering service during working hours and is also available for seminars, conferences, special lecturers, etc.
- Health Centre: The university has a well-equipped health centre with sufficient male & female doctors who are assisted by the necessary staff. The health center has preliminary diagnostic facilities and online ECG/ medical advice support of Narayana Hrudalaya with an ambulance present 24 hours.
- Seminar Halls and Video Conferencing Rooms: Each department of the university comprises a seminar hall that can accommodate a minimum of 100 students at a time whereas a video conference facility is established in a separate well-equipped hall.
