Yes — LPU (Lovely Professional University) can be a good choice for B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), but with some important realities to understand. LPU is one of the larger private universities in India with a very big campus, modern infrastructure, lots of labs, and a broad placement network where 1,500+ recruiters visit for engineering placements, and companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys, Capgemini and many others hire CSE students. The highest packages recently in CSE placements have gone up to around ₹64 LPA, and top students in the top 10 % have average packages near ₹14–15 LPA, while overall placement stats show many students getting offers and internships. However, LPU does not guarantee a high package for everyone — average packages for CSE tend to fall in the ₹6–8 LPA range, and not all students secure top jobs directly on campus; how well you perform, your coding/project skills, and active preparation matter a lot. Some students report very positive outcomes, while others feel placement support is more about quantity than quality. In summary, LPU can be good for B.Tech CSE if you are ready to work hard on your skills, use internship opportunities early, and prepare seriously for technical interviews — the environment and opportunities are there, but the degree alone won't automatically get you a great job.

At Lovely Professional University, the registration amount of ₹10,000 is typically paid at the time of admission to confirm a student's seat in a chosen program. This amount is considered part of the admission process and is initially treated as a security deposit or advance payment towards the total course fee. However, whether it is refundable depends on the timing and circumstances under which the student withdraws from the admission. If a student decides to withdraw before the commencement of classes or before the university processes the admission formally, LPU's refund policy generally allows partial or full refund of the registration amount, after deducting any administrative charges. The exact refund percentage may vary based on the program, the timing of withdrawal, and whether the withdrawal is initiated within a specific notice period defined by the university. Refunds are typically processed after submission of a written request to the admissions or finance office, along with supporting documents such as payment receipts and application forms. However, if a student withdraws after the academic session has started, the registration amount may not be fully refundable, and only a portion of the tuition fees, if applicable, will be returned as per LPU's official fee refund rules. It is important to carefully review the LPU admission and fee refund policy, as it outlines the exact timelines, percentages, and conditions for refund eligibility. In conclusion, the ₹10,000 registration amount at LPU can be refundable, but it is subject to the university's refund policy, timing of withdrawal, and administrative deductions. Students should submit a formal refund request promptly to ensure smooth processing.

MSRIT is an old, well-respected engineering college and it's located in Bangalore, which is a big advantage for internships, tech exposure, and jobs. The teaching quality and peer group are usually stronger, and the fees are more reasonable for what you get.LPU is a huge university with a very good campus life and lots of activities. Placements are okay, but because the student intake is very large, competition is high and outcomes can vary a lot from student to student.

Yes, there are job opportunities after completing a BBA at LPU, but the outcome largely depends on your skills, specialization, and how actively you use the opportunities provided by the university. LPU has a dedicated placement cell that brings in companies from sectors like banking, sales, marketing, HR, operations, retail, and consulting, with recruiters such as HDFC Life, ICICI Prudential, Axis Bank, Amazon (operations roles), Flipkart, Tata group companies, Byju's, and various startups. Typical roles offered to BBA graduates include management trainee, business development executive, sales executive, HR recruiter, operations executive, and customer relationship manager, with starting packages usually ranging between ₹3–6 LPA for average performers, while top students may secure slightly higher offers. However, like most private universities, a BBA alone may not be enough for high-paying corporate roles students who do internships, certifications (digital marketing, data analytics, HR tools, finance basics), live projects, and campus leadership roles tend to do much better. Many LPU BBA students also opt for MBA, professional certifications, or entrepreneurship after graduation. Overall, jobs are available after BBA at LPU, but career growth strongly depends on personal effort, practical exposure, and skill development rather than just the degree.
