    M.Pharm. in Pharmacology - Batch of 2024

My honest review of my college.
Placements: Since I was from the first batch, the placements were comparatively good compared to other colleges with their first passing batches. Although major companies didn't show up, the package ranged between 3–7 LPA across all branches. The placement rate was around 65%.
Infrastructure: The hostel was well-equipped with all major facilities such as Wi-Fi, showers, etc. Shared rooms were available (2 in 1 room). Each room had a chair and study table for each student, along with separate cupboards. The fees were Rs.45,000 per year, and the mess fees were around Rs.4,000 a month. The food quality was a total disaster. My advice would be to take a flat outside the campus and have good food. University hostel facilities in both the Peenya campus and the Gangotri campus had good rooms, and good food was provided there.
Faculty: There were two assignments and two tests in a semester with a gap of three weeks each. The lab exams took place 2–3 weeks before the main exams. The schedule was overall relaxed, but it was competitive as we had to study for all the assignments and tests. In Component 1, tests and assignments were included, and in Component 2, the final exam was conducted. We had to score at least 20 in each component. Faculty was very good and highly educated. The teaching medium was English. The staff was friendly, although students sometimes got frustrated over heavy attendance.

My honest review of my college.
Placements: As the course was new, there were no campus placements at that time. However, the passed-out students had promising job opportunities in a variety of fields. Ramaiah College of Pharmacy provided excellent clerkship and internship opportunities at MS Ramaiah Hospital. The stipend was according to PCI norms.
Infrastructure: Hostels provided single and shared rooms, with prices ranging from Rs.35,000 to Rs.60,000 per room, including electricity charges. Food was not included.
Faculty: The college conducted 3 internal exams for 30 marks each, out of which the best 2 were considered for the final exam. It was not very hectic and gave me time for self-study and other activities. Faculty included highly qualified teachers who took an interest in student development and paid attention to every individual student.
Other: I was supposed to pursue medicine but ultimately landed in Pharmacy, and I was very much satisfied with my decision. It was one of the evergreen courses. Also, if a person was very keen on Science and Chemistry, especially the chemistry of drugs, then it was the right choice. Not only the teaching staff but also all the other attendants were very helpful.

With 85%, you're well-positioned to apply, but clearing the relevant entrance exam is essential for admission.

Applicants must appear for RUASAT, the university's own entrance test, or qualify through other accepted exams like:

    • COMEDK UGET

    • Uni-GAUGE

    • KCET

    • Karnataka PGCET

    • GATE (for PG courses)

Yes, you can get admission to Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (MSRUAS) in Bangalore without appearing for the CUET (Common University Entrance Test).

    • MSRUAS conducts its own entrance exam called RUASAT, which is accepted for most of its courses.

    • The university also considers scores from other
