Excellent faculty and facilities, but disappointing placements.

Placements: There are many companies that hire students in bulk by giving them a stipend of 3-5 lacs per annum. About 5–10% of the students get hired because of the lack of jobs and their proficiency. 1.8 LPA is the lowest and 8 LPA is the highest package ever in my college. Cipla, Lupin, and TCS are some of the recruiting companies that come for placement. Above 70% of the students in my batch have completed internships at FDA, Bhopal. We can run a shop, join a MNC, prepare for government jobs, join the army as sepoy pharmacists, pass a government job like RRB and serve as railway pharmacists.

Infrastructure: We have a multistory building that contains 25 classrooms, 8 labs, 1 library, 4 staffrooms and a principal office. We have a large campus, a playground in beyond, and a canteen at walking distance. The college don't have a hostel so we have to stay at PGs or rental rooms, which is a major problem faced by students. The food in the canteen is outstanding, especially samosas; you will fall in love. The college has its own hospital with 40+ beds and environment is fabulous. We play pool games, badminton, basketball, volleyball and cricket. And also, we have many clubs like sports club, Cinema clubs, singing clubs, etc.

Faculty: Teachers at this college have outstanding knowledge and their teaching and implementation reduce the stress of students for examinations. Many of them are Ph.D. holders so their way of teaching gives shape to the students. The college regularly organises workshops that help students gain hands-on knowledge of operation machines, which makes them ready for industries. Semester exams are tough but the teachers play a vital role in reducing stress by helping in every aspect. 95% of the students in a batch successfully clear their end-of-semester exams and the passing percentage is 33%.

Other: Since my childhood, I wanted to serve the poor and needy and work in healthcare so I chose the medical field, especially pharmacy, because I wanted to help the poor and needy so that they could easily access healthcare with the fewest expenses. I think if I have to implement one thing for the improvement of pharmacy, I wish there should be a proper distribution of notes or study materials to students in the early days of college because many students get affected by it.
