Madurai Kamaraj University is a well known University in Tamil Naidu. It was founded in the year 1966. The rank given by the NIRF 2024 in University category is 63 rank. Satisfied with the course and studies, but not with the college campus, hostel, and restrooms.

Placements: In B.Com CA, 60 percent of students get placed every year. The lowest salary is Rs. 9,000 and the average is Rs. 1,0,000. The highest salary offered is Rs. 1,50,000. Many companies recruit from our campus, one of which is HCL. 88 percent of students get internships. Many roles are offered.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are okay in college. Classrooms are big, vut they need to add more restrooms. They need to improve the quality and variety of foods, and should prioritize hygiene.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They are really helpful in preparing for exams and are also very friendly to ask doubts and have no harmful behavior. They are very good with every student, not only in studies. They are friendly all the time. The curriculum is very relevant, every student gets the knowledge of industry work. I like the teachers' behaviors.

Other: They need to manage restroom neatly and need to renovate the classrooms. There should be a change in timing, and need to improve the other special activities like dance, sports, and other extracurricular activities.

Placements: Around 70% of students were placed in our course. The highest package was 8 LPA. The lowest was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Cognizant, and HCL Technologies. Around 70 percent of students got internships from our course. Top roles offered were Software Developer and IT Project Coordinator.

Infrastructure: Our department had good infrastructure and well-equipped labs. Classrooms were spacious. It provided a comfortable environment. The library was well stocked and helpful for academic resources. Hostel facilities were good and clean, and medical and sports facilities were also good.

Faculty: Our teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The staff quality was good and easy to understand. The course curriculum was relevant and helped in gaining industry knowledge. The semester exams were moderately difficult. The overall pass percentage was 85–95% across semesters.

Other: I chose Computer Science for good IT career opportunities. It offered strong coding knowledge and placements. I wished there were more internship opportunities. The campus had good events, a friendly environment, and scholarships.

Good faculty, placement, and infrastructure.

Placements: Up to 80-90% of students were placed in my course. The highest is 3 LPA per annum, and the lowest is 1 LPA per annum. The top recruiting companies are TCl and many more. The percentage of students who got internships is up to 90-95%. The top roles offered for my course are company secretary.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and courses available are of very good quality, and labs are very updated with up-to-date technology. The hostel facilities are the best and carefully maintained. They provide the best quality food that suits everyone. Overall, the best infrastructure and hostel service.

Faculty: The teachers in my department are highly qualified and have the best teaching style in an understandable way. They have great knowledge; some of them are personal who completed CAs and all. The course makes students ready to face the work environment with the best knowledge.

Other: I opted for this course because I'm interested in company secretaries; best job opportunity. 2. More out-of-campus activities. 3. Best events and engaging activities.

The college is totally not worth joining, and does not have placements. Choose the college wisely.

Placements: None of them got placed in a good IT company. The college invites manufacturing companies to all departments, but we are from a technical background. The maximum salary package offered is 2 LPA only. Entirely manufacturing companies like Foxconn, etc., offer placements. No one got internships here. I don't think they offer any top roles.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is okay because they have only 3 blocks. I think that's not enough. It does not have any Wi-Fi facility. There are a lot of systems in the lab, but none of them work properly. Some systems may not work, and some systems don't have a keyboard or mouse. Only a few systems work properly. There are many students in one class, and how will students work in the lab and complete the coding tasks when the systems are not sufficient? The library is pretty good. I don't know much about the hostel. The canteen doesn't have much food and snack items, which is the worst.

Faculty: Teaching quality depends on lecturers. Some faculty members aren't really knowledgeable enough to teach students. The course curriculum is not at all relevant. They make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not very hard, but some exams are hard. The pass percentage is pretty good.

Other: I like to study Computer Science, soI chose this course. Everything needs to be improved. Events and festivals have not been conducted in the last few years, even though I studied during the days when they were conducted. Sports day and annual day are conducted in one year out of every three years I have studied. It's totally like a school, and schools are much better than this college.

This career is good for my future.

Placements: 85 percent of students can get the placement. The students also put in some effort to get the placement. The placement sir will guide the students. Wipro TATA and Consultancy services etc to know more details of our college they already mentioned below. I do not know but the 4th semester will get the internship.

Infrastructure: The facilities of infrastructure are too good. The Wi-Fi connection is something we do not know about because Fatima College will not allow mobile phones. The classrooms and Labs are good and the library is a place to relax. I do not know about the hostel but the food tastes good.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and they also have to study more and more before they take classes. They will understand the students mindset and at last they will teach. Average students will say that the semester question paper is tough but the toppers will not say that question paper is tough but 1 or 2 subjects will be tough in the semester.

Other: I chose it because of creative and innovative new ideas and I have to face the problems by myself. Teacher will allow students and staff to work together. Events and fest etc are too good no compromises in that.

This career is good for me.

Placements: Above 85 percent of students will get placements, and students put more effort into it. The packages are offered in our college with minimum price. The recruiting companies are eye hospital, etc. According to our study, the recruiting will be placed. In 4th semester, students will get internships.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is used by teachers and faculty members, students won't use it because our college won't allow mobile phones. Classrooms and library places are there to relax and freshen our minds.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They teach again and again till they reach the students. Teachers are selected based on test and their quality. Students can approach the teachers anytime, and they will talk to us in a friendly way. Whenever we have doubts, they will clear for us.

Other: I chose this course because we can think more creatively being individuals and solve many problems with the guidance of staff members. Events and fests are too good. We can study on time and enjoy the moment. This is the best college for the students. Events and fests are coming, and they will allow it.
