MAHGU accepts online and offline applications for its BA admission. During the application process, candidates are required to attach self-attested copies of the following documents along with the duly filled application form:

• Class 10 marksheet & Pass certificate
• Class 12 marksheet & Pass certificate
• Domicile (for permanent residents of Uttarakhand)
• Annual Income Certificate
• Transfer Certificate/ Migration Certificate
• Character Certificate
• Ten Passport-size photographs
• Proof of entitlement for a particular reservation category (SC/ST/OBC Certificate)
• Pre-Qualifying Test Score card (if any)
• Medical Fitness Certificate
• Domicile Certificate

Further, foreign nationals are required to provide enclosed proof of their origin, copy of the passport with the application form. It is mandatory to submit eligibility certificate obtained from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi. 

After graduating from Himalayan Garhwal University, BSc graduates are eligible to take up various jobs in the government sector. They may have to apply and appear for the recruitment exams leading to these government jobs. Some of these jobs profiles include Technical Assistant, Agricultural Officer, Teacher, Nursing Officer, etc. Some government departments/recruiting organisations offering these jobs are listed below:

Merit Scholarship will be given to those students who perform best in their class. Number and value of the scholarship will be recommended by the Board of Management and Decided by the Board of Governors every year. Academic, sports, and all scholarship are available in different fields.
