Q:   Is there enough demand for BTech graduates in the job market?
A:

If we look at the market demand, no doubt there is huge demand for BTech (Full Form: Bachelor of Technology) graduates among top recruiters who are constantly looking for skilled and knowledgeable students with fresh ideas to enhance their business growth and profitability.

Having said that, a few previous-year employment reports published by the Business Standard and Times of India suggest that students found it a struggle to land a high-paying job after completing BTech because of a lack of industry-specific skills and knowledge and cut-throat competition between Lacs of engineering students hunting for a job.

Hence, it is very important for students to focus on enhancing their skill set according to industrial demands and technological advancements, stay updated regarding all industry trends, build good networks and, most importantly, take up internships to gain experience and stand out in front of the employer.

It is fantastic and perfect for your higher education.
Placements: Approximately 73% of students in Information Technology get placed. The highest package offered is 1 crore, the lowest package is around 2 LPA, and the average package is 7-8 LPA. Top recruiting companies for IT are Microsoft, Amazon, and TCS.
Infrastructure: There are various facilities available, such as digital equipment, Wi-Fi across the campus, and a huge library with various types of educational things, books, and newspapers. The quality of facilities is good. The college does not have its own hostel or mess.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, with good teaching experience. They are helpful and clarify students' doubts related to study. The course curriculum is relevant and offers various skills to make students industry-ready. The semester examinations are moderate, and the passing percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because it offers various opportunities in the field of computers.

B.Tech. in Computer Technology - Batch of 2027

This college is best in academics.
Placements: 70% of students are placed in my course. Companies are Tata, Infra, KPMG, etc. 50% of students got internships from my course. Top roles offered in our course can be tester, web developer, and designer. It is a new college so we don't know much about companies and packages.
Infrastructure: My university has a secure network connection so labs are good. There is no hostel available for our students. They need PG houses to stay near the college. There is no mess or canteen available for students.
Faculty: Faculty members are okay in terms of teaching students. Course curriculum is best and relevant to today's world. Semester exams are difficult to solve. Pass percentage can be 70-80%. Each semester has one certificate course which helps students gain atleast one certificate each semester with other subjects. Faculty members are average in terms of teaching and understanding students.
Other: Course curriculum is the best at this college.

B.Tech. in Mechatronics - Batch of 2025

Good curriculum and future.
Placements: The placements are good, as this university is new, so there are no records as such present for the placements yet, but some of the MBA students have been placed and taken internships at brands like Zudio. Also, this is the 3rd batch, which is ongoing now in 2025, and since the curriculum is based on practical knowledge and less theoretical side, it would be great for the students, and they will enjoy the learning too.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good enough, and since the university is the first university that focuses on skills, they have built their labs and infrastructure quite well. The library is also amazing, it has all the books related to the subjects and even the magazines and articles that cover world affairs.
Faculty: The faculty members are mind-blowing, like they have great experience in their fields, and they also have practical knowledge about their fields, and they pass the same to the students. The examination difficulty is moderate, as I haven't found any exam very tough yet, and the curriculum mainly focuses on skill knowledge, so that the student would be capable of taking on workloads and know how to work in the industries.
Other: I have taken a B.Tech in mechatronics. This field fascinated me because of its diversity, like this field is a combination of computer Science, information technology, Electrical and Robotics, so by taking this field, it would help me to know what my interests are, in which field I'm more interested, so that was the reason behind choosing this field. The college also focuses on extracurricular activities. Recently, our college hosted the internal hackathon, so the management is good for those who are willing to get ready for the industry.
