Review of Maharshi Dayanand University.
Placements: The placement rate of Maharshi Dayanand University is good, with 75 students getting placements out of 100. The highest package offered for students is 10 LPA. Almost 95% of students got internships from my course, i.e., from the Master of Arts.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available at the university are very good. There is Wi-Fi in the labs and library, and the labs are fully air-conditioned. The hostel facilities are also good, and the mess food is great, as good as homemade food, and also delicious in taste.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified, as they all attain a Bachelor's, a master's degree, and most of them also attain a Ph.D. degree. The course offered by this university is good for placements, and also prepares students for the industry. The semester exams are not even too hard, and the pass percentage is as usual in other universities and colleges, i.e., 40%.

Review of Maharshi Dayanand University, an excellent college.
Placements: There are many big companies coming to our college campus to recruit students. Companies like TCS, Wipro, CEAT, Jagran, etc. There are around 80+ companies for each course. To sit in the placement, you have to pass every subject of each semester. Around 90% of students get campus placement. My plan after getting the degree in journalism and mass communication is to pursue a master's degree in journalism and mass communication.
Infrastructure: In Maharshi Dayanand University, there are 10 hostels: 4 for girls and 6 for boys. The hostel rooms are very nice, fully furnished, and properly ventilated. The rooms are available for double and single sharing. The hostel mess food quality is very good, and the food was cooked in a very hygienic way, and the taste was delicious. The hostel campus has a high-speed Wi-Fi facility that is available free of charge. The wardens are properly trained. The hostel is always kept clean, as the hygiene is properly taken care of. The security of the hostel is very good.
Faculty: I chose the M.A. in journalism and mass communication because I want to become a news reporter and journalist. It's a new university for journalism, and there is good faculty. There are faculty with good experience in their field, and some faculty have doctorates. Their teaching method is so friendly, and they teach very nicely and clear up all the doubts as well. There are so many practical things in this course. The exams are conducted in a timely manner, and the exams are easy if a student gives attention to the lectures. Class Size:-50 Course Fee: INR 50000 per year.

Absolutely satisfied with crowd, campus, fees, course and faculty.
Placements: Placements were good on Mdu Rogtak campus. However, not very top notch as there were many students who didn't get placed by the university itself. The ones who got placed were happy with the packages of around 5-10 lakhs per annum. Companies were also quite good like Aaj tak, Abp, India tv etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was also very good like I was staying in hostel. Room was in great condition, well maintained, mess was also great offering good food. Classrooms and labs were equipped with ac. Library was big and well managed with no. of books which will ultimately help you to cover your syllabus easily.
Faculty: Going with the faculty was so easy task as each and every professor was very friendly and happy go nature with students. They will help you whenever you need them at any point of time no matter on or off campus. The course was also well mannered and structured amazingly including all needed stuff.
Other: Events were also very good and a huge crowd can be entertained during such events from all other colleges as well. Course fees was also affordable neither too high nor too low. Scholarships were also there for needy students.

MDU is heaven for students.
Placements: 70% of students get placed in my course. My course is Journalism and Mass Communication. Most of the students get placed in news channels as a reporter and news anchors. There are also new job profiles available for journalism students, like social media managers and editors. My seniors who passed out in 2023 got placement in a local news channel like Rohtak Ko Awaaz and Garima Times. They all got a minimum package of 4 LPA and a maximum of 6 LPA in starting because they were freshers.
Infrastructure: We have a beautiful studio where we perform practicals. We also have a TV and radio studio, with full of the latest equipment we need for broadcasting on TV, and radio. We have friendly professors, who guide us and teach us all the practical work that we need in the future. Hostels of our university provide high-quality food and a wonderful living place at minimum cost.
Faculty: Our classes start at 10 AM and end at 3 PM. We need to attend lectures in our classrooms and perform practical tasks in studios. Our exams are conducted every 6 months, in master's degrees we have 4 semesters, which means it is a 2 year course. Theoretical studies are not that hard, but the practicals are. In this course, you need to build yourself and be confident and a good speaker, listener, and writer. This course will develop your personality and make you a wonderful person.
Other: I always wanted to see myself on television and screens, and this course made me do all this and taught me about how to complete my dream. This course will make you confident.

Hi Anupama! It depends on the individual institute. You can contact the concerned officials of the institute that you're keen to take admission in. They will be able to guide you better.
