Best college for doing M.A.
Placements: Students from last semester are chosen for campus placements. A student who qualified pre-test for the campus placement programme can sit in placements only. In the year 2022, 18 students got placement from MBA on the highest package of 6 Lacs per annum and the lowest one was 3 Lacs per annum. They got profiles of Management trainee and HR executive. About 25 to 30 per cent of students each year get placement.
Infrastructure: Yes. The hostel is very lavish and near to the greenery. Hostel fill all basic need of students 3 members share single room. Maintenance of hygiene is pretty good. But the parking space are very less. Distance between college and hostel is 1km. Hostel Fee: INR 15000 per year.
Faculty: There are plenty of reasons why one would choose to pursue a Masters degree in English from JNU. The foremost is the liberty that every aspect of this course offers to a student, be it the faculty members or the curriculum itself. Literature is about letting your imagination run wild & CES (Centre for English Studies) offers you this, through the unconventional teaching pattern followed here. The faculty members despite being among the best scholars throughout India, are still extremely approachable and engage with their students at a level that involves all, leaving no student behind. The faculty-student ratio is just perfect, one to one sessions are encouraged. The curriculum itself is very interesting, as compared to the curriculum of other institutions because it is interesting customized for every fresher batch. This ensures that everything stays in the loop, from the canonical to the contemporary.
Other: We had several extracurricular activities to spend our leisure time and enjoy campus life as we made several artifacts like drawing in our engineering drawing lab. Also, students from other states suggested their childhood games like kho-kho and kabaddi. Apart from the games, there were seminars and webinars on trending relevant subjects which we attended for extra general knowledge.
