MJPRU admissions are either entrance or merit-based. Candidates have to qualify for the minimum eligibility criteria to apply for any of the UG & PG courses. For PG courses, MJPRU conducts the MJPRU entrance exam. MJPRU course admissions for a four-year BTech course is entirely based on the candidate's rank in JEE Main. Also, they must have passed Class 12 with PCM as subjects from a recognised board. However, candidates get an option to apply directly for the second year of BTech through a valid score of CUET UG entrance exam. Aspirants are required to pass one of these entrance exam before applying for MJPRU BTech admissions. Only if the seats remain vacant, candidates will get admission based on their scores obtained in the last qualifying exams of Class 12 in case of BTech and Diploma for BTech Lateral Entry courses.

- Pay the application fee through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or UPI.
After this, the application confirmation page will be generated, which has to be downloaded and printed.

Three years course with 45% marks having Zoology Botany, Chemistry Biotechnology, Industrial Microbiology, Microbiology combination or BSc Medical Microbiology or Biotechnology or Bioscience.
