MJPRU Placement Overview 2024

The University has released the MBA placement brochure 2022-23. As per the brochure, the majority of MBA students received jobs in the Banking, Finance, and Insurance industries. Further, more than 5% of offers received were of packages above INR 5 LPA. Amul, Parle, and ICICI Bank were some of the top companies that presented job offers during MJPRU placements 2023.

Additionally, the NIRF report 2024 has been released. According to the report, 27 LLM, 41 BPharma, and 6 MPharma students were placed during MJPRU placements 2023. The median package for LLM courses stood at INR 3.12 LPA. For BPharma and MPharma, the median package offered was INR 4.75 LPA and INR 4.52 LPA, respectively.

The infrastructure is very good.

Placements: 60% of students are placed in our course. The highest salary is Rs. 3,00,000, the lowest salary is Rs. 1,00,000, and the average salary is Rs. 2,00,000. The top recruiter companies are Hero and Mind. 30-40% of students are doing internships in this course in Ashoka and Lumax, an ex-company. The top role offered in the course is higher education.

Infrastructure: No more facilities are available on the campus, like a hostel and a canteen, but Wi-Fi is available on the campus. The library is very good, and the department is very good. The hostel is not available, and medical facilities are not available, but sports and games are provided by the college.

Faculty: Teachers are very good, helpful, and qualified. The teaching quality is very good. This college curriculum is relevant, and many companies are ready to hire. Semester exams are not difficult. The exam is easy, and the passing percentage is 50%.

Other: I chose this course because it's a good course. MA is improving this course. Events and fests are available, and scholarships are provided by the government.

Placements: There is no placement. I have never heard of any placement from this college, and I don't think that any placement will happen from this college. Some students are not coming regularly, and teachers are only teaching in Hindi which I will not accept.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good. But animals roam here and there, covering the whole area. However, the infrastructure is good. But the maintenance is zero, and dogs roam freely. The seats are good but dusty and remain uncleaned.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable but they only teach in Hindi. Even when they write in Hindi on the blackboard, the blackboard is not clean. However, the curriculum is relevant, but it doesn't make studying interesting. The thing is that students also have to make notes in Hindi. Teachers are not worried about students' attendance.

Other: Students are not helpful.

Utkarsh School placement is average, and hostel is too much better but is very expensive.

Placements: The student had at least 65% in their intermediate class. The highest package was about 4.25 LPA, the minimum package was 2.75 LPA, and the average package was 3.75 LPA in BCA. About 7 CGPA for the internship at TCS and Wipro companies. The role offered was software engineer.

Infrastructure: At Utkarsh School of Management and Technology, the infrastructure was too much good. There was no available internet in lab. There was no hostel at Utkarsh School. In canteen, the food was too much expensive. There was no curriculum activity in the context of games and sports.

Faculty: At Utkarsh of Management and Technology, teachers were very supportive, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. BCA curriculum subjects were DSA, DBMS, operating system, computer organisation, and many more. College did not organise any exams in every semester. Passing percentage was about 50%.

Other: I chose BCA because of my interest in software engineering and development.

Fewer placements and faculty, affordable but needs to be improved.

Placements: A very small percentage of students got placements, especially from the college itself. The students need to search for placements privately, the college doesn't provide these facilities. No internships are offered through the college itself, but after completion of the course, one could opt for different internships.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good. The facilities available are a playground, a good building, science labs, computer labs, and a well-maintained library. The classrooms are very good. No hostel is available, nor is a mess or canteen, there are good games and sports facilities.

Faculty: The teachers are good, qualified, appropriate, and have high knowledge. The teaching quality differs for different faculty members. The course is relevant and makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are not very difficult, and passing percentage is approximately above 75-80%.

Other: I chose this course because of the knowledge and specialty it offers. I wish more funds were given by the government for the maintenance of this college, and number of teachers needs to be increased. A few events, fests, and extracurricular activities are arranged. Students can get a government scholarship.

Placements: The percentage of placement in my course is 40 to 45%, which is good according to other colleges. The package is high, speaking 5 LPA, and the minimum is 3.5 LPA. The companies recruiting the students include Ajanta, Bottling, HBQ Solution, and others. Talk about internships; students have got positions at ICICI Bank, V Smart, and others.

Infrastructure: The facilities are good, like the freedom to use labs, the library, and other amenities. The infrastructure is good and well-designed, and the hostel facility has great security, both manually and digitally. The food quality is good in both the mess and canteen, and the medical facilities are great. There are also excellent sports facilities.

Faculty: Faculty members are great, well-qualified, and have extensive knowledge according to the course requirements. They are also very helpful. The semester exams are easy, and students pass them easily. The alumni help prepare students to be industry-ready.

Other: My reason for choosing this course is to gain more knowledge in the business sector. I wish there were a better focus on practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge. Events are held regularly, and scholarships are also provided by the government in this college.

Placements: Approximately 40-50 students were placed in my course. The highest package offered is 35 Lacs, and the lowest package is around 3 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting company was Wipro. Thirty percent of students secured internships from our course in different companies, and the top role offered in our course is JEE.

Infrastructure: The faculty and infrastructure of the course are average. I don't live in the hostel, so I don't know much about that. The canteen and sports facilities are okay. There is a sports complex, but it is not open to every student. You have to fill out forms for the sports complex and other things.

Faculty: Teachers at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is also good; all the teachers are graduates from reputable universities. The curriculum is relevant and includes industrial visits.
