Manipal University - fulfills our dreams.

Placements: Students are eligible for placements after 4th year. Several MNCs visited MUJ like Infosys, Google, Hitachi, etc. The highest salary package offered for last year was around 80 LPA. The average salary package offered was around 8 LPA. Placement record was around 75-80%. I plan on pursuing higher studies after B.Tech in either MBA or M.Tech.

Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is full of pace and nature lovers. This college is situated in a forest and farm area. We have full Wi-Fi facilities and comfortable classrooms. We also have a hostel facility far away from college. It includes the best and most hygienic food and living facilities. Several world-class books and journals are available in the library.

Faculty: The relationship between faculty members and students is warm and friendly. Teachers are very approachable. If a student has any doubts, one can easily locate teachers' office and ask their queries. As a fresher, I found faculty members for courses like computational, mathematics, engineering, and physics meeting the standards set by this esteemed institute. I did not exactly find the faculty members for EMM to be helpful as teachers are very casual and lenient. They conduct 3 quizzes. They also conduct mid-terms and end-terms that make up a semester.

Other: My overall college experience till now has been really fun. Every week different clubs are organizing various events and fests. The timings are very helpful for those willing to go the extra mile for added CGPA.

Manipal : A must-take experience

Placements: As I am currently the student there, so some of my seniors got placed in the MBA ( Business Analytics ) course. The highest and lowest and the average package they offered was in range between 7 - 8 LPA, 2.5 - 3.5 LPA and 5 - 6 LPA respectively. There are many top recruiting companies for this role in MANIPAL. Some of them are - Deloitte, Accenture, Flipkart, EY, Microsoft, Infosys etc. In my scenario, about 6.5% students got internship from this course in the companies like Flipkart, Microsoft and Infosys. Top roles offered in this course may vary depends on the candidates area of knowledge still I would like to tell some of the roles are - Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Risk Analyst, Financial Analyst and many more.

Infrastructure: We cannot doubt on the ambiance of Manipal. The infrastructure includes up-to-date amenities such as 24/7 wi-fi availability for students, free library access, mess and canteen facility for hostellers, separate laboratories for each subject, there's a medical room also for emergency cases under observance of multiple health specialists. Many cultural programs and ceremonies celebrate throughout the year in the campus, which keeps student motivated towards the university. There are many sports facilities for the interested students with many games like - hockey, chess, cricket, badminton and so on. The sports teacher helps us in practices post classes for Olympics and athletics. So if we talk about quality of overall campus and the university is top notch.

Faculty: The teachers at Manipal university are helpful, subject- oriented and having good command in their particular subjects. The course is curriculum relevant and it makes the student industry ready for upcoming years. The semester exams in this college are quite challenging but fair and ensures the students are tested appropriately. The pass percentage may vary depends on the student and the subject but it also depends on the semester.

Other: I chose this course because in the upcoming years, the scope of this course is about to go on peak or we can say it's going to be a high- demanding course in the top companies or MNC's in the next 4 to 5 years. The best things about this course are many but I personally noticed one of them is the knowledge of overall business and its requirements, management and implementation. As a analyst, not only we can understand a specific area of a business moreover the whole business and its specifications, requirements, benefits, loses, implementation and so on. With this course we gain technical knowledge too with the non-technical also the financial knowledge. One thing, I wish would be better if the fee or this course decreases or the campus cell should offer scholarships so that the students who are facing financial crisis and can't afford the high paying courses also find interests in this course and in this university, can also be a part of this course and take advantage of it. There are many events and festivals celebrated in the campus, the crowd of the campus is diverse and lively and creating a vibrant atmosphere for students. Everything is good in the campus - motivating surroundings, talent hunting competitions and so much extracurricular activities held there.

It is a very good college with its infrastructure and study background.

Placements: Placements offered in our college are very good. Placements are provided to students as per their talents. Internship experience after market research is very good.

Infrastructure: Hostels provided are as per the market research. Hostel facilities are very neat and clean. Staff members are disciplined. Food served is very hygienic and organic.

Faculty: Examinations conducted in our college don't pressurise students, but they are demanded to be satisfied and get first rank in the exam. Teachers are friendly and helpful. The course curriculum is relevant. The curriculum activities make students ready for the future. Semester exams are challenging if students do not study. As the teaching staff is helpful and intelligible, students learn effortlessly. I got a good rank.

Other: I chose MBA in financing because of my interest in working in banks. I have roots in the banking industry with Maths, accounting, and banking interests.

Our college is situated in Jaipur. 80% students got placed in different companies.

Placements: 80% of student were placed in our MBA course. Top recruiting companies for our MBA course are Accenture, LG, Samsung, Colgate, H. P etc. Top roles offered in my course are Marketing manager, HR consultant, Finance consultant. The highest package is 25 Lacs, the lowest package was 5 Lacs and average package was 9 Lacs. 98% students got internship from our course in samsung, HP, LG etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is fantastic. There is other building for our library and Labs. And there are good connection of Wi-Fi in our college. The quality of facilities of our is quite good and the mess food is also good. There are also facility of canteen, medical facilities as well as sports and games.

Faculty: The teacher are really very helpful towards student, the teaching quality is excellent. They all gave example related to current industry so that student get better knowledge about industry. Teachers are well qualify and knowledgeable. Our college take all student for industry visit so that we can get some industry experience. Our course curriculum is very relevant and students are industry ready. Talking about semester exams, it was quite challenging. There was no scope of cheating during examination. Passing marks are always 40%.

One of the best colleges to do MBA.

Placements: The students were eligible for placement in the 2nd year of their course. Usually, the final placements started in the last semester at XLRI. During the previous year's placement, 99 companies visited the campus and offered 437 offers to students. 100% students were placed, with the average package of 9 LPA.

Infrastructure: The hostel facility was really good, with all the students getting an individual room for themselves. The rooms were quite spacious and bright, and cleaning was also done regularly. The mess was also good with good quality food. Both veg and non veg meals were available. Library was there in the college campus. Wi-Fi facility was also available.

Faculty: Having work experience in the marketing domain for the previous 2 years, I chose this course as it gave me flexibility to change the domain, to cover all around business development in the first year. It provided the freedom to choose your specialisation in the second year. The term exams were scheduled every 3 months and the difficulty of exams was moderate to hard.

It is a good college, with good faculty, average fee structure and good placements.

Placements: Approximately 80% of students got placed in our course. The faculty are good, but the only thing lacking is the response time which is quite high, plus the fee structure is also a bit higher. The fee is around 1.44 Lacs.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Wi-Fi is available for us. We didn't go to the labs, but labs are available. The classrooms are good and clean and up to today's standards in terms of technology. The library is good. The hostel has all the necessary facilities. The food available is good.

Faculty: The teachers are good and well-qualified. The teaching quality is good too. The course is relevant. Exams are quite good. The difficulty level is good. It tests the abilities of students. The pass percentage is around 40%, but students can easily score up to 70-75%.

Review of Manipal University, Jaipur, for MBA.

Placements: The percentage of students who got placed is below 50%, as we had a strength of 69 students in the whole MBA course. Students were separated in the 2nd year as per different streams. 80% of students of the marketing stream got placed, but in the finance and HR stream, less than 40% of students got placed. The highest package offered is 12.5 LPA, the lowest package is 3.5 LPA, and the average package is 4.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies were ICICI Bank, Urban Clap, BYJU's etc. None of the students got internships from college, and the majority of students have enrolled for internships on their own. The top roles offered were business development associate, relationship manager and assistant manager.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities of our college are quite impressive as they have huge lifts, centralised AC rooms, smart boards, Wi-Fi and one of the biggest libraries in India. Hostel facilities are quite impressive but a bit expensive. The mess has many items on the menu, so it provides quite a variation. Safety and cleanliness of food are maintained in the mess. Several inbuilt canteens and food courts are present inside the hostel campus like Dominos. A small hospital and medical store are also present inside the campus. Various games are available to play, both indoor and outdoor games. For indoor games, a specific room is available for students to play. For outdoor games, there are 4-5 badminton courts, 2-3 basketball courts, a swimming pool, 2-3 tennis courts and a big ground for cricket and football.

Faculty: Even though some of the teachers were very helpful and supportive throughout the period, the college lacks teaching faculty as one teacher teaches 3-4 subjects in different fields. Except for a few teachers, the majority of them teach via powerpoint presentations than giving practical learning experience. The course curriculum is relevant as per industry requirements but only for marketing stream, but for finance stream, there are a lot of issues to address like they didn't consider technical analysis course, didn't teach financial modeling and never thought industry required tools like SPSS and many more that could benefit students a lot.

Other: The college life was pretty impressive till the first year, where many of the genuine and knowledgeable mentors laid a foundation and set a standard for our development, but it turned opposite in 2nd year when we had to decide specialisation, and many of the great mentors left the job. I chose this course after seeing the brochure as I have a keen interest in the stock market and the college also mentioned offering few stock market courses, but later, they didn't offer such courses and that kind of practical learning. Practical learning should be the key focus that can lead to the betterment or improvement of this course than just reading powerpoint presentations. The campus crowd is high. A lot of different events took place from time to time, like Oneiros, Under 25 etc. They also provide different scholarships for meritorious students.

Placements: Many industries visit Tapmi for placements which help to make students get placements as per their choice and interest in which company or field. Manipal University assures that it will provide almost 95% placements to its students. Top recruiters visit Manipal University Jaipur for placements, and they are Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Dubai-based financial firms and Oracle. Earlier we didn't have a good number of preplacement offers. However, now we have a good number of preplacement offers compared to previous year.

Infrastructure: Our college and hostel infrastructure is eco-friendly. Our college uses solar panels also, and the quality of the food served here is good compared to other places like hostels and PGs. The quality of the food provided in the canteen is also good. The medical facility is fine, but doctors are not available all the time. Sports and games activities are good. There are good facilities in the hostel for such recreation.

Faculty: Teachers here are qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant but not as per the industry standards. The teaching quality is average but not that good or not that bad. Before starting the syllabus, teachers provide us with the entire course curriculum to make us know how topics will be taught in classes, which is the best part of our college. A brief about the topics is provided to students. A proper subject structure and format are provided to students, i.e., how classes will be conducted and which topics they will teach. So, before starting the class, you will already have an idea of topics which they are going to teach. So, you can prepare before starting that particular topic.
