According to the official admission brochure of MGKVP, there is a horizontal reservation of 20% of the total seats for women candidates in respective categories and cadres. Out of the total number of seats reserved for women, 2% seats are reserved for widows/divorced women (category-wise, in respective cadre).

MG Kashi Vidyapith (MGKVP) has an elaborate seat reservation policy. Seats are reserved for candidates belonging to various categories. The percentage of seats reserved for each category is given below:
