The university is re-accredited by NAAC with an A+ grade. Kerala University has a score of 55.50 and ranks 24 among the top Universities in India by NIRF 2023, whereas MG University has been ranked 31 among the top Universities in India with a score of 53.44.

However, as per the university NIRF report 2025, the median package offered during MG University PG 2-year placements in 2024 stood at INR 5.5 LPA.
