Yes, Mahatma Gandhi University offers BSc (Hons) programmes across different specialisations. Some of the specialisations in which the course is offered are Physics, Food Science and Quality Control, Home Science, Botany, and more. Admission to this UG-level course is done based on merit in the last qualifying examination. Hence, aspirants scores in Class 12 are taken into consideration. Mahatma Gandhi Univerity Common Admission Test (MGU CAT) application fee is announced category-wise. The application fee for general and open all-India quota candidates is INR 1,200 and INR 600 for the SC/ST candidates. Moreover, the fee for international candidates is UD 100. • MGU UG application form was released on May 15 and the last date to apply was Jun 7. Additionally, the provisional merit list shall be published was Jun 12.
• The last date to apply for MBA and MGU-CAT was May 5, 2024. CAT-MGU was held between May 17 and May 18, 2024. Admission to most of the PG courses is based on MGU CAT conducted by the university.

The University has released the NIRF report 2025. The report incorporates 2024 statistics. As per report, 455 PG-2 year and 26 UG-5 year students were placed during the 2024 placements. The median salary offered to UG-5 year and PG-2 year students was INR 4 LPA and INR 5.5 LPA, respectively.

However, according to MGU Kerala NIRF report 2025, the median package offered during MG University UG 5-year and PG 2-year placements 2024 stood at INR 4 LPA and INR 5.5 LPA, respectively. Apart from this, 26 students out of 38 students were placed during MG University UG 5-year placements 2024. 

The MSc placement report 2024 is not released as of now. However, as per the university NIRF report 2025, the median package offered during MG University PG 2-year placements in 2024 stood at INR 5.5 LPA. In addition, a total of 455 students were placed out of 565 students during PG 2-year placements 2024.
