No, candidates cannot be admitted directly in BE courses at MSU Baroda after clearing Class 12 board exams. For qualification of BE admission, candidates must appear in JEE Main or GUJCET. Selection will be based on scores obtained in any one of these exams.
Yes, candidates who do not have a valid score in JEE Main can get admission in MS University, Vadodara BE courses. Aside from JEE Main, this institute also admits candidates based on GUJCET as well.
If any seats are left vacant after seats have been allotted to candidates who appeared in aforementioned exams, merit based admissions can also be granted by MSU Baroda.
MSU Baroda admissions for UG programmes are both merit & entrance-based. The university's minimum required percentage ranges from 40% to 55% in Class 12.
