Nagaland University Highlights 2025
Established in 1994 by an Act of Parliament by the Government of India, Nagaland University is founded as a Central University. The Nagaland University, Dimpaur is a campus for BTech courses are offered. Nagaland University's School of Engineering & Technology was established in 2007. It is the first School of Engineering in the State of Nagaland and has state-of-the-art infrastructure. The academic complex is located at DC Court Junction, Dimapur, Nagaland. The school adopts a teaching pattern of course credit system in semesters. Major emphasis is laid on practical & industrial training. According to the NIRF report 2022, a total of 84 out of 747 UG and PG students were placed during Nagaland University placement in 2021. The median package offered to UG (4-year) and PG (2-year) students during Nagaland University Dimapur placement was INR 3 LPA and INR 4.50 LPA, respectively.

This scholarship is o provide equal opportunities for higher studies in NE Region. Students with domicile of NER who have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam from a school situated within NER through any recognised Board of Education and have secured admission in general degree course, technical and professional courses.
- Only first year undergraduate students are eligible to apply for the scholarship
- The income of the parents of the student should not exceed Rs 4.5 LPA
- An amount of Rs 5,400 per month for General Degree courses and Rs 7,800 per month for technical and professional courses (including medical & Para medical courses) will be given through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to the beneficiary student
