Central University of Punjab BTech is offered via the Department of Computer Science and Technology. The undergraduate-level course is offered only in Computer Science and Engineering. Central University of Punjab BTech Admission 2025: How to Apply?
Central University of Punjab's BTech admission is inclusive of CUET 2025 exam elements. Candidates must apply for the BTech course via the CUET exam. The admission procedure is mainly inclusive of the application process, selection process, results, and fee payment. However, before applying for the course, candidates must have a basic knowledge of Computer Science and Engineering and a valid qualification for the BTech programme. Step 1: Central University of Punjab CUET Registration 2025
The 2025 application process for admission to the Central University of Punjab for BTech starts with the registration process of CUET. The first step is to register for the CUET by visiting the official website of the exam. CUET registration is an online process. Candidates willing to appear for the exam must fill out the CUET application form on the NTA website. After registering and paying the application fee, candidates have to wait for the admit cards and the exam dates to be released.
Step 2: Counselling Process
The counselling process for the BTech course will be conducted by the Central University of Punjab. The candidate is required to fill out an application Form separately to participate in the counseling of the Central University of Punjab. The detailed schedule and modalities of online counseling, including application forms, shall be posted on the University website after the declaration of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) result. Depending on the availability of vacant seats at that particular university for any course, the BTech 2025 counselling rounds will vary.
Step 3: Seat Allocations
Central University of Punjab BTech seats will be allocated based on their CUET ranking and also on the available seats at the University. A candidate with a higher CUET 2025 cutoff will be given a higher priority than a candidate with a lower cutoff. Upon acceptance into a college and program, students must pay the admission fee.
The seats for many of the courses might get vacant because the candidates got upgraded to other courses or might leave the seat, which causes the conduction of one more round, which is called Spot Round/ Direct Admissioln. Those who would not be allotted a seat in the original counselling rounds can participate in the spot counselling by registering on the official websites of the Central University of Punjab.
Step 4: Final Seat Confirmation by Candidates
Next, students must pay the 'Admission Fee' to confirm the BTech seats at CUP. The tuition fee does not include the CUET application fee and the hostel fees. The schedule of Registration and Orientation is notified later on, after the declaration of CUET results.
