Unique AI & Data Science program with top faculty and real-world projects.
Placements: Overall, about 91% of students get placed, with approximately 92% in core branches like ECE. For AI, the average package is about 5-6 LPA, and top offers reach 13-14 LPA. Prominent recruiters include Airbus, L&T, Siemens, Aditya Birla Group, DFCCIL, RITES, IBM, Nokia, Adani Group, Mahindra Logistics, and Hitachi. Internships are compulsory each year, starting with opportunities at Indian Railways in the second year and extending to PSUs and private firms thereafter. Notably, CRIS, Indian Railways, DFCCIL, RITES, and CONCOR have hosted AI interns.
Infrastructure: Campus is a sprawling 55-acre woody area inside NAIR, featuring air-conditioned classrooms, Wi-Fi, well-furnished hostels, and shared messing facilities. For hostel accommodation, 2nd-year students typically live in rented off-campus hostels, with an on-campus hostel expected by 2026. Regarding facilities, there's a good library and reliable Wi-Fi. Sports infrastructure is limited due to shared NAIR grounds, but extracurricular clubs (tech, cultural, sports) are functional.
Faculty: College boasts a faculty mix of knowledgeable and supportive regular professors from IITs/IIMs and visiting professors from institutions like Berkeley and Oxford. It's AI curriculum is highly relevant and modern, blending transportation-logistics with ML, Big Data, Cloud computing, time series, deep learning, and predictive rail analytics, being heavily industry-driven with MOUs from companies like IBM and Nokia, while regular semester exams are moderately challenging with good academic support and generally passable rates, though exact pass percentages aren't disclosed.
Other: Student body totals around 840 students across all programs, showing diversity from 22 states with approximately 50 students per branch. The campus environment is a green space, home to peacocks and various birds, and a reconstructed historical palace adds charm. Clubs, fests (like Aujasya 2025), and supportive peers all contribute to enriching student life. The culture is vibrant, with active tech and cultural clubs, though sports slots are limited due to shared facilities.

    Satisfied with the college.
Placements: GSV records an overall 91% placement for its final year students for the academic year 2024–25, and for Civil, it is 92%. The top recruiting companies are L&T, Alstom, Wonder Cement, Jindal Steel, Toyota Tsusho India, and Aarvee Associates. The top roles offered to students are Site Engineer, Design Engineer, and Project Engineer. All students get internships in Indian Railways, PSUs, and the private sector, as it is mandatory in our college to do an internship of 4–8 weeks based on the total duration of the course.
Infrastructure: Since GSV is a newly emerging university, the infrastructure is under development. All classrooms are well-equipped with centralized AC. Library facilities are also available, where you can get all the reference books and competitive exam books for your academics. Labs are also well-equipped with machines. The hostel facilities for both male and female students are great. Males are in the NHSRCL Hostel, which is well-furnished, and all rooms have AC. Each room has 3 LAN ports. Talking about the mess food, it is good, not excellent, but good compared to other colleges.
Faculty: All faculty members at GSV are Ph.D. holders and well-experienced in their respective fields. Their way of teaching is remarkable. Our Chancellor, Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw Ji, has personally designed the curriculum along with faculty members to prepare students to be industry-ready. Students complete 3 internships and 2 projects by the end of the academic program. Where the first internship is in Indian Railways, the second in PSUs, and the third in a private company. The semester exams are quite hard. You listen to your professors, as they are very experienced.
Other: I have a huge interest in Civil Engineering, which is why I chose this course. The best things about my course are industrial visits, internships, and projects that make us industry-driven. Since the university is developing, there is always room for improvement. Personally, it would be better if the library were open 24x7. There are not many fests here like in private colleges. Honestly, if you want to enjoy fests and events, don't come here, as it is a technical university.

    Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya Vadodara College.
Placements: Placements in my college are average. The maximum package is 8 LPA. The lowest is 2 LPA. 100% of placements are there. If students do not want to get placement, there is a beneficial to the UPSC railway board exam like DRM. Overall, the college and placements are very good.
Infrastructure: In rooms, ethernet and full Wi-Fi are given to us. Attached bathrooms are available in every room. Every alternate day cleaning is done in rooms by staff. The mess food is of very good quality. 4 times food is provided to us. The food is northern, southern, etc. We have clubs like Techno Crats Club for coding, robotics, and profile development purposes and Malhar Club for singing, dancing, business, and management. Sports facilities are cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, and kabaddi. The mess facility is very good. The library facility is also very good. We have very good Wi-Fi.
Faculty: The faculty members are decent. They also interact with students related to classes. The HOD himself looks into the matter. He is helpful. There are 2 to 4 permanent faculty per branch for a strength of 30 to 40 students. The visiting faculty are arranged accordingly. The course curriculum is similar to IITs. It is a transportation university so the syllabus is a bit more than other universities as it contains 20% of the curriculum related to railways or transportation.
Other: The campus is spread over 55 acres of land. The academic blocks are in very good condition. The seating capacity of each classroom is 60 students. Academic facilities like a library, medical, transport, security, and other facilities are also available. In this college, my favourite thing is medical and library facilities. Outside the campus, there is a huge land which is spread over 103 acres. The institute's construction is in process and it will be completed by 2026.

Gati shakti Vishwa Vidyalaya, Vadodara .
Placements: Placements are provided. The average placement is about 5 LPA and the highest is 13 LPA. The placement is expected to grow soon. As the college is new. So, a small time is required for better placement. But they will be very good within 4 years. Many top colleges visiting like Siemens, Flipkart,Psu also offer jobs here.
Infrastructure: Hostels are so good, one can't find in any college. Ac rooms are provided. 2 seater rooms are there. The bathroom is attached, Wi-Fi facility is provided all over campus. Meals are very good there are variations every month. Affordability is very nice. Facilities given to us can't be provided to us under what we pay. We don't even pay for 40% of the facilities. In college Wi-Fi, labs, and libraries are also available.
Faculty: The course is beneficial to us and grows knowledge in particular branches and subjects. The course is well designed and benefits competition exams like GATE and UPSC in engineering, especially in the Indian railway. Course offeres us placements in railway department for long life like over. And PSU sectors And the placement rate is 100%. Semester exams are difficult in this college..
Other: I chose this because it is associated with Indian railways and the railway minister is the chancellor of our college. The college is growing very fast and the railway minister (Ashwini Vaishnav) assured that the college will enter in top 10 in the Next 5 years. The infrastructure is growing very fast more than 750 crores are passed for current construction and the college campus will be soon expanded by 31 hectares, current area-55 acres soon 55+76 acres. I chose this because I found it best and I didn't apply for others.

Placements: Placement Experience: YES, PLACEMENTS ARE PROVIDED. AVG PLACEMENT IS ABOUT 500,000 AND THE HIGHEST IS 13 L. THE PLACEMENTS ARE EXPECTED TO GROW SOON. AS THE COLLEGE IS NEW, A SMALL TIME IS REQUIRED FOR BETTER PLACEMENTS, BUT THEY WILL BE VERY GOOD WITHIN 4 YEARS. MANY TOP COLLEGES, LIKE SIEMENS, FLIPKART, AND PSU ALSO OFFER JOBS HERE.
Infrastructure: Hostel Facilities: HOSTELS ARE SO GOOD ONE CAN'T FIND IN ANY COLLEGE. AC ROOMS ARE PROVIDED. 2-SEATER ROOMS ARE THERE. BATHROOM IS ATTACHED. Wi-Fi FACILITY IS PROVIDED ALL OVER CAMPUS. MEAL IS VERY GOOD; THERE ARE VARIATIONS EVERY MONTH. AFFORDABILITY IS VERY NICE. FACILITIES GIVEN TO US CAN'T BE PROVIDED UNDER WHAT WE PAY. WE DON'T EVEN PAY 40%.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are visiting (they are from IITs or NITs). All teachers are very good. Best: Physics -> Jyoti Sharma Mam, IRSE -> Bipin Shrivastav (visiting faculty). We are allowed to ask doubts any time on mail. If it's daytime, they answer within 2-3 hours. Most of the courses are associated with railways, and AID's branch is associated with transportation and logistics. It is industry-driven, which provides knowledge of the outside world. The internship is provided every year. In 1st year, it is provided by Indian Railways.
Other: Cultural fest -> Agni, Tech fest -> Epitrome, Sports fest -> Aujasya. The current infrastructure is very good, and much more is under construction. Classrooms are equipped with all the modern technologies, and one cannot find any cons in classrooms. Clubs are regularly active; there are more than 10 clubs in the college.

Review of National Rail and Transportation Institute.
Placements: The average package offered is 7 LPA. The highest package offered is 30 LPA. 100% placement is available. Students who do not wish to pursue placements may find it beneficial to prepare for UPSC or railway board exams, such as DRM. After completing or during their 4 years of study, students become eligible for placements. Some of the companies hiring include Aditya Birla Group, L&T, Adani Group, TCS, Airbus, and Siemens. The highest salary offered is about 13 Lacs per annum, with an average salary ranging from 5 to 6 Lacs. The college is in the developing stages for programs in Civil, ECE, and Mechanical Engineering, ensuring that all students are placed. I plan to join the Indian Railways as a senior railway section engineer in the signaling department.
Infrastructure: GSV needs infrastructural development, including small lab spaces that require updates and classrooms that need renovation along with the installation of SMART screens. Currently, there is no accommodation available on-campus for first-year boys. There are five hostels available; each room comes equipped with Ethernet and full Wi-Fi. Attached bathrooms are available in every room. Rooms are cleaned every alternate day by staff, and the mess provides food of good quality, serving meals four times a day, including both North Indian and South Indian cuisine.
Faculty: Faculty names -dr. Manoj Choudhary (vice-chancellor, ), dr. Jyoti Sharma (, dr. Pardeep Saroj, dr. Sweta sharan, dr. Praveen, dr. Ram, dr. Advin raj, dr. Mohmad avesh, dr. Meet, dr. Navneet Sharma, dr. Vipin sir (experience of Indian railway ), and some other faculty. Along with other faculty members. This college is unique in India and operates directly under the Ministry of Indian Railways. The teaching approaches align with the modern industry's needs, and faculty members take students on external visits to provide insights into the industry. The curriculum teaches how the Indian Railways operate, and exams are conducted on a semester basis.
Other: Clubs include a Technocrats Club for coding, robotics, and profile development, a Malhar Club for singing, a dancing club, a business club, and a management club. Sports facilities are available for cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, and kabaddi. The mess facility and library are excellent, and Wi-Fi access is very reliable.
