NITTE Mangalore has hostel which consists of a WiFi facility, common telephones, solar water heaters, and other facilities. Students can make use of dental and medical treatment at the 1,000-bedded multispecialty Justice K S Hegde Charitable Hospital and the A B Shetty Dental College Hospital.

NITTE offers a wide range of courses at UG and PG level in various streams such as Engineering, Allied Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Biological Sciences, etc. The mode of application in NITTE University is online. Admission to various courses are offered on the basis of merit, however, few courses are there for which candidates need to appear for the entrance exams.

Admission to the BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science programme under the General Category is based on merit in the All India Entrance Test - NUCAT (Nitte University Common Admission Test). Candidates for NUCAT will have to complete and submit the Online NUCAT registration form available on the official website.

Nitte Univeristy offers various programmes at UG and PG levels. The institute also offers PhD and Certificate courses in various disciplines.
