NLU Ranchi BBA LL.B. Courses & Fees 2026

The National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL) is indeed one of the prominent law schools in Ranchi, offering BA LLB (Hons) and LLM programmes. The university has subsequently been recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC). According to media reports, the the highest package offered during NLU Ranchi placements 2023 stood at INR 16 LPA. 

NUSRL Ranchi offers a wide range of law courses. It accepts the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) score to select candidates. The consortium of NLUs releases the cutoffs for admissions to various law courses in different NLUs. According to the NLU Ranchi CLAT cutoff 2024 for the Fifth Round of Allotment, the Last Round ranks for the General AI category for BA LLB(Hons) and LLM in Intellectual Property Rights were in 1594 and 1623, respectively. NLU Ranchi offers three courses at UG, PG and doctoral levels. The university offers BA LLB (Hons) at the UG and LLM at the PG level. Candidates must complete a minimum of Class 12 for UG and graduation for PG programmes. Admission to both UG and PG courses is based on CLAT score. The university is also expected to begin BBA LLB (Hons) and PG Diploma programmes in the coming session.

The registered candidates are required to appear for CLAT entrance exam for admission to BA LLB (Hons) and LLM courses. Further, candidates willing to get admission, have to go through the CLAT Counselling process for acceptance of seats. Aspirants who will accept the allotted seat need to upload all the required documents on the official portal. Once done, candidates need  to pay the admission fee to confirm their seats within a stipulated deadline.
