DSNLU LLM Eligibility & Highlights 2025
DSNLU LLM is a one-year course offered at the postgraduate level. The programme is divided into two semesters. For DSNLU LLM course admission, aspirants must have a valid CLAT score. Moreover, the university offers LLM courses in Criminal Law, Commercial Law, and Constitutional Law.

DSNLU offers one-year LLM course spread across two semesters. The university offers LLM in various specialisations such as Corporate and Commercial Law, Constitutional Law and Administrative Law, Criminal Law and Security Law and IPR and Technology Law. Aspirants who have completed LLB or five-year integrated LLB course can apply for any of the LLM specialisations.
The University grants an LL.M. in one year. The Monsoon Semester (July–November) and the Spring Semester (January–May) comprise of the two semesters of the academic year.
The university will conduct a screening exam, group discussion, and interview to select students for this specific degree program. There are 60 seats available for the dual degree, 10 of which have been put aside for international students. The remaining seats are distributed in accordance with Andhra Pradesh government regulations.
Selection Standards for the LL.M. programme at Andhra Pradesh's Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University:
- LL.B. or any other comparable degree with 50% (SC/ST) or 55% (Unreserved/OBC/SAP) from an accredited university.
- Applicants who are scheduled to take their qualifying exam in March or April are also eligible to apply, as long as they bring the necessary documentation with them when they check in.
DSNLU Application Process 2024:
1. Offline admission will be done for all courses. The CLAT website is where candidates must register for the BA-LLB (Hons) and LLM programs. For PhD, candidates can directly apply through the university website
2. Applicants who meet the requirements must download the application from the university website.
3. To finish the application process, pay the application fee via DD.
4. The eligible candidates' merit list will be made public.
5. To finish the process, eligible candidates must go through document verification.
NLU Visakhapatnam admit candidates to the LLM programme based on merit in CLAT exam. The applications are out for the entrance test. Candidates are required to submit CLAT 2025 applications on or before Oct 15. The exam is to be held on Dec 1. Moreover, the counselling dates will be out soon.
DSNLU has an intake of 60 in LLM programme. There are nine extra seats for students. Candidates with a valid score in CLAT are offered seat in the course. Out of the total intake, there are 15% seats reserved for SC, 10% for EWS and 6% for ST category candidates. Once aspirants are allotted seat in the university, they need to pay a course fee to confirm their admission.

Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Visakhapatnam CLAT cutoff 2024 has been released by the Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) for admissions to the LLM course. The cutoffs were released for the opening and closing rounds.

NLU Visakhapatnam offers admission to LLM programme on the basis of merit in the CLAT exam. The course aspirants who have passed integrated law courses/LLB with at least 50% aggregate can apply for admission. Eligible candidates can visit the CLAT official website to apply. Admission to the PG course is entrance-based. DSNLU admission is a multi-step procedure that involves CLAT registration, appearing for the exam, cutoff release, CLAT counselling, seat allotment, fee payment, and admission confirmation. STEP 1: DSNLU LLM Application Process 2025
The eligible aspirants can proceed with the CLAT application process. Candidates can visit the exam's official website (https://clatconsortiumofnlu.ac.in/) to register and submit the application. The application must be submitted on or before the prescribed deadline.
STEP 2: Appear for Exam & Release of Cutoff
The applicants then need to appear for the CLAT LLM exam. After the exam, a cutoff list is published by the university. Candidates who meet the cutoff mark become eligible for participation in counselling.
STEP 3: Counselling, & Admission Confirmation
In the next step, the candidates need to take part in CLAT Counselling. In this round, seat allotment and document verification processes are carried out. Following seat allotment, candidates can report at the DSNLU and pay the required fee amount. The DSNLU LLM tuition fee ranges between INR 97,000 and INR 1.8 lakh.
