Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Visakhapatnam CLAT cutoff 2024 has been released by the Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) for admissions to the LLM course. The cutoffs were released for the opening and closing rounds.

Yes, DSNLU accepts CLAT score for admission to BA LLB (Hons) course. As per the DSNLU cutoff 2024, the closing rank for BA LLB (Hons) Round-1 and last round was 1233 and 1390, respectively. The rank improved from 2080 in 2023 to 1390 in 2024. Candidates must score well in CLAT to get a seat in the university. One must also fulfil the eligibility criteria for BA LLB (Hons) for admission. 

For admission to DSNLU Visakhapatnam for the LLB or LLM course, the result of CLAT 2024 can be expected by the last week of December 2023 After the release of result, the exam takers will be able to download their CLAT scorecards from the official website using their login credentials for DSNLU Visakhapatnam admission via CLAT counselling and seat allotment.

The cutoff for Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU) for the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) program closed at 2080 AIR after the 5th round of Counseling in 2023. Therefore, it is unlikely that a candidate with a 56 percentile in CLAT would be able to secure admission to the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) program at DSNLU, as the AIR equivalent to a 56 percentile is expected to be higher than the closing rank.

In 2023, the DSNLU cutoff rank for the PG course LL.M. in Criminal Law was 2583; in 2022, it was 1637; and in 2021, it was 1134. Over the past three years, DSNLU has seen an increase in the number of LLM in Criminal Law programs. Applicants who want to be admitted to DSNLU's LLB and LLM programs in 2024 must take the CLAT.

CNLU offers CLAT counseling to applicants who want to be admitted to law programs. Those who pass the CLAT exam are invited to the CLAT Counseling. The eligibility criteria for the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) program at Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU) is that the candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks for Unreserved/OBC/SAP categories, and 40% marks for SC/ST categories. In addition to that, admission to the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) program is done through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).
