AP PGLCET 2023 - The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) started AP PGLCET application process 2023 at the official site of Common Entrance Tests (CETS), cets.apsche.ap.gov.in on March 23, 2023 for admission to the LLM course. Candidates can fill out and submit the AP PGLCET application form 2023 without a late fee till April 22, 2023. The AP PGLCET exam will be conducted on May 20, 2023. Candidates seeking admission to the LLM programme offered by institutions that accept APPLCET must fill out the AP PGLCET application form 2023. APSCHE has not released AP PGLCET application process yet. The application form will be released soon.

The exam authority, APSCHE conducts AP PGLCET for admission to LLM courses offered at the Andhra Pradesh universities and their affiliated law colleges. Sri Padmavati College for Women will conduct AP PGLCET 2023 in a Computer-Based Test mode. What is AP PGLCET?

Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Common Law Entrance Test (AP PGLCET) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for admissions to LLM course. On the basis of AP PGLCET scores, candidates are offered admissions to various universities and their affiliated colleges of the state. The exam is conducted by Acharya Nagarjun University, Guntur on behalf of APSCHE in an online mode.

AP PGLCET Eligibility Criteria 2023

Candidates seeking admissions through AP PG Law entrance exam need to fulfil the eligibility criteria as under: 

  • They should have passed or appeared in the final year of their bachelor degree in law i.e. Five-year LLB degree or three-year LLB degree from any recognised university. 
  • They should have secured at least 50% marks if belonging to General/ OBC category and 45% marks if belonging to SC/ ST category.
  • There is no upper age or lower age limit for this course. 

The candidates who are appearing or are awaiting results of their bachelor degree can apply for AP PGLCET but they have to submit the proof of qualification at the time of final admission.

AP PGLCET Admission Process 2023

The admission process for AP PGLCET 2023 is as per the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Apply for AP PGLCET 2023 - Candidates need to apply for AP PGLCET 2023 for LLM admission at the official website. The application process includes, registration, application fee payment, filling up personal and academic details besides category and domicile information. The application process is completely online. 

Step 2: Download AP PGLCET admit card 2023 - Candidates who apply successfully for AP PGLCET 2023, will be issued hall tickets mentioning exam date and other details. Candidates need to download the admit card through the link given on the official website. 

Step 3: Appear for AP PGLCET exam - Candidates need to appear for AP PGLCET 2023 as per the schedule and at the allotted exam centre. The exam will be conducted in a Computer-Based Test mode. 

Step 4: AP PGLCET 2023 results and merit list - The exam authority will declare results for AP PGLCET 2023 on the official website. The merit lists of AP PGLCET 2023 will also be released category-wise for mentioning marks and ranks of the qualified candidates. The merit list will be final for admission seat allotment process.  

Step 5: AP PGLCET 2023 counselling - Candidates who name and ranks will be mentioned in the merit list, are required to participate in the counselling process for final seat and college allotment. Candidates would be required to register for web-counselling, and then report at the allotted law college for document verification and other admission formalities.
