NMIMS provides excellent hostel facilities for its students. Along with the hostel, the institute also provides housing facilities. NMIMS Mumbai has a separate hostel for boys and girls. Each hostel has all the modern facilities and infrastructure to make the students staying in the hostel feel at home. There are two full-fledged hostels and four rented residential accommodations (taken care of by the University), separately for boys and girls. The hostel is very near the college, offering the convenience of commuting. The hostels are allotted on a first-come, first-served basis. Prof. Y. K. Bhushan Information & Knowledge Resource Centre is a well-furnished, fully air-conditioned library spread over an area of 15000 sq. feet. The library has a huge collection of books, journals, audio-visuals, CDs, VCDs, annual reports, management games, newsletters, etc. The library is a helpful source of information for faculty, research scholars, Students, and other centre members. The library is automated with Koha library automation software. There is are 58000+ collection of books on various topics of Business and Management, including areas related to Economics, Behavioural Sciences, IT, Law, Engineering, etc. This includes 80+ National and International periodicals and journals carefully archived with back-dated issues.
Apart from the traditional library system, the library has a rich collection of online resources as well. The library has 32+ online databases, offering a vast knowledge to its members. There are 3000000+ e-books, 1,00,000+ e-journals, and an enormous collection of data and reports in the e-resources. The centre also offers a dedicated digital library where students can access databases and AV material. Bloomberg's lab of 12 terminals is also equipped at the Resource Centre for the use of research in finance in the marketing field. A dedicated section of the research methodology is available for researchers to engage in research activities.
NMIMS provides inter-library loans, as well as a reprographic section to make the extraction of information easier. The library also conducts book exhibitions from time to time.

No, ragging is strictly prohibited within the premises of NMIMS Mumbai. If any incident of ragging comes to the notice of the authority, the concerned student would be expelled from the institute. The institute has strict rules and regulations around the same.
