This was the best college in central India till 2016.

Placements: For IT and software jobs, there are average opportunities, and those who got a proper job applied for off-campus jobs. For the rest, there is no job opportunity. Only sales and marketing jobs are offered in tier 3 companies.

Infrastructure: Although the infrastructure is excellent, there are few facilities available due to a lack of admissions.

Faculty: The best faculty members have already left the college, and the new faculty members are completely new in terms of teaching. You can select either sessional or skills. If you're a bookworm, you'll get sessionals but not any skills related to your job or anything. If you choose skills that pay you forever, forget about sessional. You have to maintain attendance as well as bookish knowledge to be a topper.

Other: The number of students in an entire batch is less than the number of students taking admission in a particular subject of a particular batch. The best things about college were robotics, SAE, and the Techfest, which have already ended in 2019.

Our college is worth for every penny paid.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. Most students have to go to other colleges for interviews. Companies like TCS and Amazon visit the campus with mediocre salary packages. The average salary package offered was 2 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 12 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good especially the library. Students from other colleges also visit our library. It is the number one library of all the engineering colleges. The food served in the mess is very tasty.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college are very good. Their way of teaching is excellent. Teachers try their best to teach us, and they also clear our doubts in an easy way. In this difficult pandemic time, they are teaching us through Zoom online classes. They made videos to give us lessons on a particular subject.

Other: I chose this course because I want to be a mechanical engineer from the best college.

Our college infrastructure and studies are nice, but it needs to work regarding placements.

Placements: The placements weren't that good for mechanical branch in our college, but the students from computer science and information technology branches got placed in some nice companies. Fluor Daniel India Private Limited was one of the best companies that visited for the placement drive in our college. The placement cell of our college helps students regarding placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of classes is the best in our college. Even the library has the widest collections of books and has very neat and nice environment to study. The whole college has Wi-Fi connectivity, which is helpful to study in today's generation. Our college hostel rooms are tidy, and the canteen is one of the best among our nearby colleges.

Faculty: Mechanical engineering course in our college is the second best in the state, all hail to the faculty members. Our college has experienced faculty members with a good command in their respective subjects. All classes that I've attended helped me get ahead in my life.

Kull mila kr this is the best college and the college time is my life best time !

Placements: Many companies have come here and hired a huge number of students. It also provides an open campus for other college students to show his/her talent and get the job. Maximum companies package is over 3 LPA. I remember the day am attending for the first time to the campus, where I was little nervous about what happened then. TPO sir came near to me and made me believe that I can crack the campus placements. I did not face any infrastructure related issues on this campus.

Infrastructure: The college building is outstanding. Its classrooms are not much bigger but sufficient for 80 to 90 boys. Only in this college, I saw the projected system in every classroom.

Faculty: There are many faculty members for teaching. The teaching technique was different. They behave with the students like her/his child. They sport every student to improve in himself. Every faculty member is very punctual and honest about their job. They sound good in the classroom while they are teaching so that every student just concentrates on the board.

Other: I remember college one more thing, centin wale Bhaiya WO to lakh me ek the. Agar koi bhi aaj paisa ni laya our pyar se kehta h to WO bolte the koi ni year Fir kabhi de dena. Hm sab Ka college h pyar se rho !

One of the best college in Chhattisgarh for mechanical engineering.

Placements: My friends and seniors are placed at various companies like Rgbsi Bhushan steel Culebra, Mahindra and Mahindra, Amazon, etc. There is a poor record regarding selection in PSUs. The highest package offered was around 10-11 lacs per annum. The lowest package offered was 1.5-3 lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. It is Wi-Fi enabled campus. The library is awesome. There is a book bank facility available for us. The lab classes, especially for mechanical engineering, are regularly conducted. The annual tech fest of Chhatrapati Shivaji Institute of Technology is called as Lakshya. It is well known for its robotics events.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members had their Masters either from IIT or NIT. They are eager to clear your doubts. They will always motivate you to do well in your examination, and with placement, but they are somewhat strict, and their behaviour towards you usually depends on your attendance.

Other: There are events in this college. Lakshya is organised as a Techfest. CPL cricket event is there. The football ground is there. The singing event called as rhythm is there. All the students love the badminton. Much other competition including basketball, volleyball, athletics is organized in this college.

The infrastructure is good, and the faculty should be improved.

Placements: Some campuses came to our college were good, but some were fake, there was no campus in reality, but people came, took interviews, hire them, and that's all. And there was no campus drive for mechanical although it is a good college for the mechanical engineering.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good of our college. It is unique, and it is designed for foreign colleges. There is no college in the Chhattisgarh looks better than our college. There is good seminar halls, good arena for any event, overall very good infrastructure.

Faculty: The faculty of our college is good but not up to the mark. There is very less number of experienced faculty, and some faculty members are like they time pass in the class. Th course curriculum was also like they don't complete in time. There were 5 chapters in which only 4 were completed up to the endings.

Other: The fest of our college Laqshya is very good. It is one of the best technical events in the Chhattisgarh. The scholarship is also provided time to time. The Wi-Fi connectivity is good. The campus surrounding is very silence and neat.

The CSIT college is best for mechanical branch in Chhattisgarh. The faculty in good for mechanical.

Placements: The placement offered at our college is good as compared to other colleges. For our senior batch, the few numbers of companies visited the college. The maximum numbers of companies visited for all the branches. 2-3 companies visited the core branch. For our batch, 2-3 companies visited this month. From December to January month, many companies visited our college. The highest salary offered by the company is Rs. 3-4 lakhs per annum and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 1-2 lakhs per annum.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. In our college good classroom facility, labs and very good library facility. The Wi-Fi facility is provided, but the speed is slow. In our college, there are two boys hostel and two girls hostel. In one single room of the hostel, there are three people shared in both boys and girls hostel. Similar facilities are provided in the faculty compartment.

Faculty: In our college, some faculty are very experienced, but some faculty was not experienced in the knowledge field. Some faculty have a helping nature. Many faculty members had completed PhD degree or M.Tech from IIT and NIT. But some faculty had passed from our college and teach in our college. But all the faculty are experienced in the teaching field with 3 to 4 years. In our college many branches are open. For each branch one HOD place related to branch.

Other: CSIT college is the best college for mechanical branch. Our college has the best library. In this library, the seating arrangement and AC facility is provided. The Wi-Fi facility is provided, but the speed is very low both college and hostel. In our hostel the mesh facility is bad. Many people leave the hostel due to the quality f the food.

Placements: In my final year, i.e. 2012-13, CSIT brought many campus recruitments to our college, some of the big recruiters that visited the college are: 1) Tech Mahindra, 2) Indian Navy, 3) Practo, 4) HP, 5) Bhushan Steel, 6) Fluor Daniel, 7) IBM, and many more. The best thing about placements is that the college keeps you informed in advance about the recruitment drives so that you can fit yourself into it, and can proceed with your CV and profile accordingly. The placement students were placed right after the graduation, and the career aspects of those students are elaborated further. CSIT also had connections with CoCubes.com at that time, which in turn, provided online examinations for various MNCs to recruit students according to their scores in CoCube.com tests, and it also allows you to take online exams from home.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure, indeed, defines the campus very much. The campus is spread over 50-acres area, and it has many diversified and well-oriented labs on one side and buildings and classes on the other. The architecture of CSIT college very much collaborates with such an ease that a student can look up to it and can easily get good awareness of the surroundings. The campus has a canteen, a Nescafe coffee shop, a gym, a sports ground, and a sports area that includes courts for basketball, badminton, cricket, football, etc. It also contains a couple of great halls which are utilized by the students for various activities and student councils. The overall impression of the campus is that it is a beautiful sight in colours of light cream and magenta. These colours soften your sight a lot.

Faculty: The faculty members of CSIT are very much appreciable and are one of the top tutors in the field of engineering. The mechanical faculty members in CSIT are by far the most knowledgeable and academic oriented personals that intend to enhance every student's subjective as well as pragmatic learning. The staff and faculty members are very much practical oriented. faculty members can clearly personify the student's behavior, and they have a way to approach the knowledge according to the real world.
