Talking about the placements, the reviewer mentioned "The university provides good placements. Around 70% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA. The lowest salary offered was 2.5 LPA and the average salary offered was 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies like ICICI, Deloitte, TCS, PWC, LI Companies, etc., visited the campus. Around 70% of students got internships. Top roles offered were assistant manager and DM RM."

Oriental University admits students to its MBA programme through multiple counselling rounds. The last date to apply for these counselling rounds varies from year to year. In 2024, the registrations for the first admission round were concluded on April 30, 2024. The university has recently concluded its fourth admission round on August 14, 2024.
