Yes, Osmania University offers BTech students seat reservations as per government policies. These reservations are usually on the following grounds:

• Other Backward Classes (OBC): Seats are also reserved for students coming from the OBC backgrounds for the purpose of social justice.

University College of Science, Osmania University admissions are both merit and entrance-based. The college selects candidates for UG courses based on their merit in the last qualifying exam. Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) is a state-level entrance test conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) for admission to the BE, BTech, BPharm, PharmD, BSc, BFSc, and BVSc courses.
