The admission process at DY Patil University, Navi Mumbai typically begins in March each year, and as of now, applications are open. Admissions to various undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and PhD/MPhil courses are determined through different entrance exams. For UG courses like BTech in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, JEE Main/MHT CET scores or the University-based test are considered. BTech in Engineering admission relies on valid JEE Main/MHT CET scores. NEET UG scores are essential for BDS and BPT admissions, while BBA (Hospital Administration) requires DYPCET scores, and other BBA specializations are admitted through DYPCET. MBBS admissions demand valid scores in All India Entrance Test (AIET)/NEET UG, and BAMS admissions are based on AIET scores. BArch candidates must take the NATA exam, and other UG programs follow merit-based admissions.

 

In PG courses, MBA admissions consider CAT/MAT/XAT/AIET scores, M.Tech Nursing relies on GATE scores, MD Ayurved requires AIPGET scores, and MD/MS programs mandate NEET PG scores. MDS admissions are based on NEET MDS scores, while DM and MCh admissions require valid NEET SS scores. MArch admissions are granted based on NATA scores, and other PG programs follow merit-based admissions.

 

For PhD/MPhil courses, PhD (Ayurved) and PhD (Engineering) require the University's PhD Entrance Test (PET), unless candidates have UGC NET/CSIR NET/SLET/GATE qualifications or hold a teacher fellowship, in which case they proceed to an interview. PhD (Physiotherapy) final selection involves the All India Post Graduate Physiotherapy Entrance Test (AIPGPET). MPhil admissions are determined through a University-level entrance test.

Good infrastructure with great campus.
Placements: 15 lacs per annum is the highest package in RAIT. 5–6 lacs per annum is an average package that is offered to almost every student. Almost every student gets placed in good company. Overall, many students go for higher studies after bachelors.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are mostly adequate, but most don't have air conditioning. The faculty are average. There is no Wi-Fi for students, and the labs are sufficient. The library is well stocked with books for both academic and general purposes.
Faculty: Computer engineering courses are related to the curriculum and make us ready for industry purposes. Courses provided by colleges are not enough for a student to be placed in higher companies. Students should give their own efforts to placement interviews.
Other: Events and fest are conducted frequently.

My opinion for this amazing college.
Placements: Students scoring above 50% can apply for a BBA course; in the 2nd year, they offer a few internships that are suitable for your field and also train you for the same. The placement is given in big MNC companies as well as normal companies, wherever you get selected for your role.
Infrastructure: Amazing infrastructure of the whole campus, beautiful ambiance and vibe in class, cafeteria service also available, every year a few amazing events to take a break from the daily routine of studies, and not to forget, they have really nice foods and quantities.
Faculty: Teaching is really amazing and teachers are really helpful for guidance and for after-class queries as well. The library is always open for students to study in silence and at their own pace. In this college, the courses are really relevant for a successful career and make you prepare for industry.
Other: I chose a Bachelor of Business Administration because this will help me build a career in HR as well as event management, which both interest me.

Absolutely dissatisfied because joining does not happen in jobs.
Placements: So in our college 60% students got placement. The highest package was 11 LPA but they show that 15 LPA and the lowest package is 3.36 LPA. Average package in my passout 2023 was 4 LPA. Top companies include Carwale, TIAA, Oracle, TCS, Accenture, LTI and KPMG. None of the students got internship from the college, we were finding on our own. Top roles offered include Data analyst, Graduate trainee. Till now most of the people are sitting home waiting for their joining in which our college is not helping us.
Infrastructure: The faculty members are nice and very helpful. They also give guidance one-to- one to people for Masters, and for some life issues also. They teach very nicely and classrooms have digital boards. Library is very nice, full AC and has access to many of the engineering and entrance books. Wi-Fi access is not given to the students. Labs have MAC laptops with nice chair. Most Canteens have average food except Island cafe in college. Sports and games is encouraged by the college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, career wise job wise everything and also they are knowledgeable. Course curriculum also have every coding language to every necessary course which industry wants. Exams are bit difficult because there are many exams and projects and assignments, so to study for exams time becomes less. Passing is 32 out of 80.
Other: I chose this course because wanted to join IT sector and have interest in it. There are many events in college including Teach fests, Horizons, garba, social events etc.

RAIT review - good college overall, huge campus but average placements.
Placements: Placement season was average overall. The highest package was 15 Lacs per annum and the lowest was 3 Lacs per annum. Average was around 4-5 Lacs per annum. TCS was the mass recruiter and most of the roles were related to software engineer and a few were for quality analyst.
Infrastructure: Every lab has AC, library has AC and it's spacious. Not every classroom has AC, and labs are well-equipped. Sports are highly encouraged too. I don't know about the quality of food. Hostel facility is available for girls only and not boys. Boys have to look for PGs.
Faculty: Semester exams are pretty average and not that difficult. Teachers are well qualified and well versed in core computer science subjects, but not in the new electives like artificial intelligence or data science. Course curriculum is up to date and very relevant.
Other: Huge campus and great events and concerts.

Best college in Navi Mumbai.
Placements: Around 80–90% students got placement from college. The highest package was around 45 LPA and the lowest package was 3 LPA. The average package offered by college was 4 LPA. Companies like TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, google, Hexaware, etc. Top companies arrived at college. Very few got internships; I don't know exact number but it was not high.
Infrastructure: All the infrastructure is best. All labs contains required instruments in good condition, and the lab assistant helps you in everything. Mostly every classroom is air-conditioned, except some classrooms. library is very big and contains all sorts of study books. Also, it is best place to study. Canteen food is not so good; you will find better food outside the college.
Faculty: The teachers were always available for students and always interested in solving doubts. Everyone was well qualified and experienced. Some teachers also had Ph.D. The curriculum is relevant but some parts or chapters are not very useful in industry. The semester exams were somewhat hard.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in the telecommunications industry. The best thing about this is that you can use this course information in any field. Just some irrelevant topics are there in the course, which are somewhat important but not that much. There are so many events that happen in college, like Horizons and Vizion. Also, there are many committees or clubs in which you can join. Kalarag, SUC, IETE, and ISTE are some names of committees. Scholarships are available for caste students.
