SLCU, Bangalore is a part of Christ Univerisity, is approved by Bar Council of India conducts a five year BBA LLB programmes. Punjab University is a public collegiate university located in Chandigarh. Universities two departments for teaching law.Both departments have seperate academic blocks. As per the rating of the colleges and rank in all india colleges it is best to join in christ University. There is more interaction with faculty. Highly satisfied because of the calm infrastructure, a great faculty and good placements . Placements: Students get good placements in high level companies like de shaw. The highest package offered as per 2022 is 25 Lacs per annum.

LLB at Panjab University is a 3-year full-time programme offered through the Department of Laws, P.U. Regional Centre, Ludhiana, P.U. Regional Centre, Muktsar, and P.U. S.S. Giri Regional Centre, Hoshiarpur. The total seat intake for the LLB programme is 60. The student has to pay 17010 rupees as tution fees for first year semesters respectively. And for second and third year student has to pay 18510 rupees each semester.

The admissions at Department of Law, Punjab University are based on the merit of the candidate. The cut-off marks are different for different castes like 36.4 for General, 34.9 for SC, 38.5 for ST and 38.1 for other Backward castes. The minimum cut off scores for PU LLB 2023 entrance exam is 20 out of 100 for General/ OBC category, and 15 out of 100 marks for SC/ ST/ PwD categories. Merit is calculated taking 50% of the class +2 percentage including weightages and 50% of the UGLAW Entrance Test marks. Having secured minimum 45% marks in aggregate for general category and 40% marks in aggregate for SC/ST category.

Absolutely. Punjab University is excellent place to pursue Law. Since it has large campus, excellent Professors, good hostel facility both inside and outside of campus. University has excellent campus placement records as well as good prospects without campus placement. The Department of Law at Panjab University was ranked 27th for Law by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2021. The Department of Law was established in 1959 and offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs. 210 LLB and 1 LLM students were placed during the Department of Law Panjab University placements 2022. The median package offered to LLB and LLM students was INR 2.30 LPA and INR 8 LPA, respectively.

Should have passed FA/F.Sc./ A level or equivalent examination with a minimum of 55% marks. Should have passed the Law Admission Test (LAT) with 50% passing marks and with a validity date for admission. Must have appeared in the PU Admission Test conducted by Punjab University. To be eligible for the three-year PU LLB course, a candidate must have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 45% aggregate marks or 40% marks for SC/ST candidates.
