There were part time Faculty Members also, and some of them rose to be Judges of High Court and also Supreme Court. I am sure the quality of Faculty even today would be as good as it was then. I am not saying so because Law Dept. PU, happens to be my Alma Mater, but because I see a lot of pass outs do well as lawyers . The university otherwise also has a glorious past to substantiate its credentials. The last to last Retired Chief Justice Of India, Justice Kehar was a pass out of Law Dept, PU. The Late Justice Punchi, who retired as Chief Justice of India also taught at Law Dept. PU. Our former PM, Sardar Manmohan Singh was a Faculty Member in Economics Dept. of PU. The list is endless . Some of the Vice Chancellors like DR. Bambah, have international fame in their fields. In any case you can search the rating at internet but I would rate PU good for doing law.
