Q:   How can I get admission to BTech at Parul University?
A: 

In order to get admission to a four-year BTech course at Parul University, candidates are required to qualify for all the parameters of the selection process. The first step of the selection process is to fulfil the basic eligibility criteria required for BTech. Those who pass Class 12 in the respective discipline are eligible to apply for this course. Further, BTech admissions at Parul University are completely done based on candidates' past academic records and scores obtained in either JEE Main or GUJCET entrance exam. After qualifying for the respective entrance exam, candidates need to fill an online application form and submit their previous scorecards as proof for the selection process. The final seat allotment is done via GUJCET Counselling conducted by ACPC.

My experience here so far.
Placements: At least 65 percent of students in my course are placed this year. The highest package offered by a product-based company is Microsoft, with 51-60 LPA. The lowest is 3.5-4 LPA, offered by multiple service-based companies like Infosys and Wipro. My course specialization is AI, so anyone pursuing this course can join a company as an AI specialist, AI engineer, or in similar roles.
Infrastructure: The campus has great infrastructure with specialized labs and a library with digital books. Classrooms are well maintained, but this does not apply to all buildings, especially the old ones. Hostel facilities can be chosen according to our needs, such as AC or non-AC rooms and the number of sharing. The mess menu is the same for all hostels. The food is acceptable.
Faculty: Teachers are mostly supportive if you are a sincere student and eager to learn. The curriculum is designed according to your specialization. They provide relevant training. It is also important to self-study and explore on your own instead of relying solely on the college.

College is 7 out of 10, but everything has its own pros and cons, so you’ve to learn how to survive.
Placements: College has a 90 percent placement rate, and currently, the lowest package is like 3 LPA, and the highest is 43 LPA. There are so many top recruiters, such as Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Meta, etc. Many students, like 90 percent of students, got internships through college in local companies, big companies. They offered roles like CEO by PU.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good. Wi-Fi is available from 5 AM to 12 AM, from 12 to 5, Wi-Fi is not available, and the library is separate in each college. There is a big library for all the students with good infrastructure and a good environment. The hostel is good, and the infrastructure is also good. The food quality is average, and it is available 24/7. Medical facilities, and there are all indoor and outdoor games in college. There are separate areas for all the games.
Faculty: Teachers are good, but there are like 40 percent teachers who teach rather than teachers who only come and read the PPT. The teaching quality is also average, and only 10-20 percent. Teachers are qualified. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready. The semester-end exam is tough, and you have to score a minimum of 40 percent in that exam.
Other: I am doing B.Tech because I have an interest in coding. The best thing is that there is a lot of competition, so you will keep motivated. Colleges need to improve the labs. There are very few labs in colleges. Events are really good. There is a lot of crowd and also extracurricular activities.

University with a proper environment and eco-friendly faculty members.
Placements: Placement is end-point. In this college, the placement cell is very energetic because they try to fulfill all students' needs. They tried to teach students about interviews. Debate discussion is also held in my college so it is good in all aspects, and I will say that everyone will get placement at any salary.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the hostel is pretty good, and the course is absolutely good to enroll in. People will get a good environment to engage and people are friendly. It's good to start with Parul University. Labs are best for the prices that I paid. Safety and facilities are also good.
Faculty: Teachers are IIT qualified, and more engaged than other university faculty. They make a good environment with students so it will work good. It makes students industry-ready with most of the experience. Exams are tough but not difficult to pass with preparation.
Other: My batch is robotics and artificial intelligence from 2024 to 2028. I enrolled with lots of excitement and an innovative mind to do much in these fields. My university is pretty good at making efforts for students. Faculty are also well qualified, so it's not bad for the value of money.
