B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture - Batch of 2028

It is the best college with good teachers.
Placements: I was part of my batch in this course, and the placement performance was average to good. Around 60-70% of students were placed. The highest package offered was about 8,00,000 LPA. The average was around 6,00,000 LPA, and the lowest was 3,60,000 LPA. Recruiting companies included local IT firms and mid-size organizations. About 40% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: The college has decent infrastructure with functional classrooms, basic laboratories, Wi-Fi connections, and a well-maintained library. Labs and our faculty in Green House and Farm are adequate for practical learning. Hostel facilities are satisfactory with clean rooms, regular water supplies, and security. Mess food quality is average. The best for hostel students is Parul Sevashram Hospital, and ambulance help is very good.
Faculty: Most faculty staff are qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. Teaching quality is good with a balance of theory and practical examples. Exam types are semester to semester. Government-type exams are taken, and most security exams are conducted. The biggest topic is compulsory attendance in class, which is 75% in our college.
Other: Money is valuable because it feels the same as other colleges, but in this college, it is very best for our faculty. Our campus is like our home. Semester to semester, our home in our Parul campus has all branded stores available, and everything is possible in our Parul University.

It is the best and greatest experience.
Placements: 20% of our batch is placed. The highest package is 8 LPA, and the lowest is 4 LPA. The top recruiting company is Adani, almost every single one of us got internships as it's a necessary and compulsory part of our degree, mostly the role of management, site visiting, and data collection is given.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is the best, every class had a projector in it, for better understanding and a virtual class is modernised. Labs have all the equipment required, if anything malfunctions, it is replaced within one week. The hostel is the best, again, the best Wi-Fi and comfortable facilities provided by them.
Faculty: Every teacher is trying their best to give us knowledge and make us understand everything. Exams are not difficult because they helped us in preparation during and even after our classes in doubt sessions. It does make students industry-ready at their best.

A genuine review for Parul University.
Placements: Lots of students get placements every year, as I listen to YouTube and other platforms. From 10k per month to 50k per month, we will get after we get a placement in ICAR, FCI, and many other companies. Roles that we offered are food management officer and storage distributor.
Infrastructure: Hostels are not too good where I live. I live in a hostel in Parul Campus named Kalam B, whose price is around 1.5 lakh per year, including food and Wi-Fi. In the hostel, we got a bed, a study table, an almirah, and an attached bathroom. We have a warden who is a caretaker of our hostel, but his behaviour is not good.
Faculty: Teachers are very good, they are all well-experienced and communicate in Hindi, Gujarati, and English. The semester exam is not too difficult, but exams are tricky because they are prepared by AI from the last 2 semesters. Overall quality is not too bad, but it is said to be average.
Other: I chose this course because I want to serve the nation through agriculture. There are many events every month on our campus, but the tickets are too costly, so many students are unable to afford them.

I am happy that I chose to study agriculture. The college provides good infrastructure.
Placements: We are in 3rd year now, and no one has started to apply for jobs or internships yet. But hearing from our seniors, they all get internships. Till now, we have visited many companies and universities that teach us a lot of new things in the world of work. It helps us do some experiments and get some idea of work.
Infrastructure: In college, almost everything we need is available. We have laboratories with many pieces of equipment. Lab coats provided by the university for each student. A library with plenty of books, classrooms, and Wi-Fi. The hostel is good because everything is available. Wi-Fi, bathrooms, toilets, and rooms. The college also provides many sports courts and a food court.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and teach well during classes. Theoretically, we can go to the industry and apply what we know. The exams are not difficult if you study and listen well to teachers. The average pass percentage is 50%, and almost my batch gets more than 60%.
Other: I chose agriculture because I am a nature lover. It is really good to learn new things every day. I wish there were more practical portions. The college provides many events that help us forget the difficulties in college and give us motivation to continue.

Very good college. All faculty members are experienced and knowledgeable.
Placements: Average package is 4.5 LPA, which every company offers to students every year. The highest package is 17 LPA, which a student receives in this university. Top roles offered include research scientist or CEO of a company.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the course and hostel accommodation is very good. It has lights, fans, classrooms, smart classes, and labs equipped with all necessary equipment, aids, and items. Hostel rooms are clean and well-maintained. Wi-Fi works only until 11:59 pm. Which is a problem because students have to go outside to study after that time.
Faculty: Faculty, curriculum, and exams for our course are excellent. Faculty members are very knowledgeable and experienced, understand students. They provide help whenever needed. Exams are conducted smoothly without any disturbances or issues. The course design is well-structured, easily understandable, and very helpful.

The college is good for a career and developing skills for the future.
Placements: In our course, students mostly prefer government jobs or go for higher studies. Very few take an interest in private jobs. Hence, there are not many placements as students are not very interested. 80% of people get internships in various companies.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are excellent. We have labs for various subjects, a greenhouse, and a library. Hostel facilities are good, and the mess quality is average. Medical facilities are available 24/7, and various sports activities are held on our campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive. The quality of teaching is overall good. The curriculum is good and develops skills in students. Semester exams are average. The total pass percentage is 95%. Students get promoted to the next semester.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities. Faculty is very supportive.
Placements: 60–80% students get placed. The highest package is 6–10 LPA. Average package is 3-4 LPA. The lowest package is 2–3 LPA. Top recruiting companies include AgroStar, agri-based private companies, NGOs, and agri-input firms. Internships are available to 50–60% of students. Internship companies include AgroStar, agri startups, farms, NGOs, and agri-input companies. Top roles offered are Agriculture Officer/Executive, Field Supervisors, Agri Sales & Marketing Executive, Crop Advisory, and Research/Extension Assistant.
Infrastructure: Facilities & infrastructure are available. It includes smart classrooms with Wi-Fi, well-equipped agriculture labs, a central library with books & e-resources, and research farms for practical training. Hostel & other facilities like clean hostels with Wi-Fi (boys & girls separate). Mess & canteen with hygienic food, on-campus medical facilities, good sports, games & gym facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Good teaching quality with practical examples and field exposure. Course curriculum are relevant and industry-oriented. It prepares students for agri jobs, research, and internships. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty. 80–90% students pass per semester.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in agriculture and agri-careers. The best things are practical labs & research farms, industry-relevant curriculum, supportive faculty, good placements & internships. Things to improve in our course are advanced lab equipment, more industrial visits & projects, soft skills & entrepreneurship training. Campus life includes regular fests & events, friendly campus crowd, good connectivity and green campus, scholarships available, sports & extracurricular activities.

Absolutely, to give a short review of the college, it has really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: From my batch, nearly 40-45 percent of the students are placed, with an average salary between 3-4 LPA. The highest package is 4 LPA. The lowest package is 2 LPA. Agrovikas, Deepak Foundation, I don’t really remember all my friends, but a few are placed in some companies, which include the fertilizer industry, NGO-based companies, etc. I don’t know about the rest.
Infrastructure: The college sets a good example for being clean and neat. There is no such sound chaos. The classrooms are modern, with installed projectors, smart boards, Wi-Fi facility, drinking water, and washrooms. I haven’t applied for the hostel, but based on my friends’ suggestions, the accommodation is quite good, with 3-4 people sharing a room with attached washrooms. However, the food quality is approximately 4/10 due to many friends suffering from food poisoning and bacterial infections.
Faculty: The faculty teachers are quite helpful, highly qualified, many of them are Ph.D. holders, and also have hands-on work experience in different departments and activities, which ensures practical knowledge. This course is related to techniques of farming and different farming-related activities, so it helps students for industrial work. The exam format is not very difficult; one must score above 55 marks out of 100 to qualify in a subject. The pass percentage varies every semester.
Other: The best thing about the course is that it has many different streams in which I can gain hands-on experience and learn. It provides more practical knowledge than theory. All the things mentioned above are pretty good, with many international celebrations being included in several programs.
