Parul University is where dreams come true and turn into reality.
Placements: As I have seen from the states and heard from the respective faculty members, around 85% of students get placed. Several companies like TCS, Infosys, and Cognizant. Among them, a few students also get placed at startups. It is a good thing because students can learn more from startups.
Infrastructure: The course infrastructure is good, but sometimes there are Wi-Fi issues. Overall, everything is well-maintained. One thing I would suggest to the college is to provide GPU-centric computers in every lab instead of having them in only one lab. Apart from that, the hostels are good. The maintenance staff also visit regularly from time to time.
Faculty: Teachers are good, but I suggest the college provide them with training for more relevant and updated courses and syllabus content. Apart from theory, there should be a stronger focus on practical learning. Also, similar to the classroom approach followed in countries like China. Faculty members should make students familiar with VS Code and modern IDEs instead of using outdated compilers like Turbo C for the C language in the first semester. Topics like AI/ML, Hugging Face, and Agentic AI should also be introduced because AI agents are the future.
Other: To improve this course, practical learning should be given more importance than only theory. Theory is also important, but practical knowledge teaches students much more. College should provide students with projects to work on because once students start working on a project, there is no other option left except to learn and complete it. This will help students improve mindset and skills to reach their goals.

The campus vibe and infrastructure are awesome.
Placements: 60% of students got placed in this course. The placement policy is very good for students. Companies like Google, Amazon, and Meta come for placements. Almost 90% of students got internships from the college which is the most important thing.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus has a vibrant vibe. Wi-Fi is provided for students. Classrooms and the campus are very clean. The hostel food is not very good. Medical facilities are great because the campus has its own hospital.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. It is very helpful to students. Semester exams are not too much difficult. The passing percentage is 35%. The course curriculum is relevant. The college makes students industry-ready.
Other: The university has value for money.

Great campus but average placements.
Placements: There were around 600 students in our batch of BCA 2021-2024, and around 50% of the students got placed. There were no such big companies to name. They were mostly small companies that were located in Surat, Ahmedabad, and Varodara. The top role that was offered was software development.
Infrastructure: Campus is great. All the facilities are really good except the hostel food. The food is below average. Every hostel has Wi-Fi, laundry, and cleaning facilities, which are good. There is a hospital in the college where we can go whenever we feel sick, so medical facilities are also great.
Faculty: Some teachers are really great, but some of them are really very careless. They have good knowledge, but sometimes they are not able to explain it to the students, but overall, the teachers are really very responsible and knowledgeable. The difficulty level of the college exam is not too high or too low.

Is Parul University worth
Placements: Currently I am in BCA 1st year 1st semester in BCA. We have 3 years and 6 semesters. The average package is 7 LPA. Many major companies and startup companies also come for placement. We get preparation for placement also here so no need to worry for placement placements is good here.
Infrastructure: We have separate buildings for classrooms one and for labs one building named Bhagat Singh for classrooms and CV Raman for labs and we have named secure network as our Wi-Fi. No need to worry for internet. Here we get high speed in MB S like 25 MB per second, 60 MB per second.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable because they are very friendly towards as they are very comfortable to teach to explain and clarify the students doubts. The course curriculum is relevant it make the students industry ready for every activities. Semester exams are not tough not to easy it's based on our preparation.

Yeah, overall not that bad experience.
Placements: 30-40% of students got placed. The highest package a student can get is 5-7 LPA, the lowest is 2-3 LPA, and the average is around 3-5 LPA. Companies that are recruiting are TCS infosis ishitava robotics SENOPTEK.
Internship opportunities usually range between 60% to 80% for BCA. Usually, they are local start-ups which are in Vadodara itself. Top roles offer are data analyst, database administrator, IT support executive, web developer, and system developer.
Infrastructure: All are good in a decent way. Not too good or bad. Wi-Fi works well. Labs and classrooms are well furnished. The library is pretty good in the hostel. There are ac and common washrooms and attached washrooms according to your budget. Medical facilities are great because they own their own hospital, so no worries. Sports: They have a ground, but not enough. They have practice nets in their hostels’ grounds.
Faculty: Teaching quality is not good. You have to learn things yourself. They should provide some practical knowledge to students.
Yeah, it is relevant, but it does not make students industry ready at all.
They are moderate, not too hard either, nor too easy. The passing percentage is above 33%.
Other: Because in today’s world, we are used to tech, and the best thing about this course is you can enjoy the studies if you really focus on things.
The things that should get better are faculty, and they should teach practical things rather than PPT stuff
Event and fests are best at all, and the campus crowd is not that good, but yeah, you can chill around there. There is nothing in the campus surrounding you that you can claim the scholarship for if you have 50 % or above marks in your 12 boards.
