Patna University offers admission to candidates based on their scores in the entrance exam or the last qualifying examination. The university conducts PUCET for admission to various courses. PU also considers scores in national-level entrance exams such as MAT, CMAT, etc. for admission to MBA programme. Further, Patna University publishes course-wise merit or selection lists.

Patna University admissions are currentlu open for a few courses. Candidates can apply for the course of their choice online or collect the application form offline from the admission office of the university. The selection will be either based on entrance exam-Patna University Common Entrance Test (PUCET) or merit in the last qualifying exam.

As per the second merit list of Patna University LLB course the opening and closing entrance marks are 84 and 83, respcetively for the UR category. For other categories the opening and closing entrance marks 82 and 71 for BC, 81 (both the opening and closing) for EWS, 78 and 77 for SC and 76 and 75 for EBC.

Candidates can apply for admission to various courses at Patna University by submitting an application form in online and offline modes. The documents required at the time of Patna University include Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and passing certificates, a Passport-size photograph, and Bachelor’s degree certificate (if applicable).
