Overall this college is good.
Placements: There's no placement cell in this department. However, sometimes, through the connections of teachers, some students get placed, but only in call centers or non-technical lines. This is the worst thing here. If you want only a degree, then you can continue from here.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on campus. Labs are also neat and clean, and classrooms are also good. But the hostels are the worst. The mess food is terrible, and seniors always rag juniors. There are very strict rules for students.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and helpful. However, some of the teachers are not good at teaching, but they are knowledgeable. This course is relevant only if you want to go into ISRO or the research line. The semester exams are too tough; only 30% of students pass.

Cambridge of east. Bihar ki shaan.
Placements: The college provides good placements. Students who prepared for CSIR and NET exam they placed as lecturers. Our senior batch also got placed in IITs by GATE exam. Many of them are lecturers in the topmost colleges of India, and also many of students are editors of books. Students got the job in TCS. Many students cracked UPSC exams. It is common here.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good. The college provides Wi-Fi facilities with high internet speed; the college provides all kinds of lab facilities like electronics lab, plasma lab & laser lab. Library also good, classrooms are mind-blowing. The college offers hostels for boys and girls; hostels facility is too good. Quality of food in the canteen is superb. I have not faced any issue related to infrastructure.
Faculty: Teachers are as a guardian; they are well-qualified. Teaching quality is best. Teaching methods one is normal board and chalk, and other is smart class are used. Teachers mainly focus on practical so that students can understand easily. Student to faculty ratio is 10:1.
Other: The college provides the scholarship for SC, ST, OBC students, and also for minorities.

Department of Physics Patna University.
Placements: There is no system of placement just like other traditional colleges. No private or government company comes for placement. So there is no placement cell. But students with recommendation letters of various teachers get some internships in many research institutes like Saha Institute of nuclear physics or TIFR, Plasma Research Institute. , etc. Every year about 20 to 25% of students get selected for internships in various research institutes. The stipend for this internship time is around 5000 and this internship is only for about 1 month. They are taught the methods of research. All that one can get from this Institute is just the popular name of Institute that you can used as an introduction if you want to teach in a reputed coaching institute. After completing M.Sc. you will have to qualify CSIR NET or entrance tests of some other Research Institute to get a reputed job in research field.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is getting better slowly. When I was in college, Wi-Fi was installed and the practical labs are getting renovated, especially the electronics lab. Classrooms are small but enough for the small batch of about 50. There is a ground for sports actually 2 grounds but sports are organised by the University only once a year. The library is also very good, it contains most of the recent books related to Physics and one can pass the exams by lending books from the library only means there are enough books for everyone to borrow. There are no medical facilities in the department one has to go to the dispensary of University, Central dispensary for any medical condition. There was no canteen till I studied. There are many hostels of the university but their rooms are very bad; the roofs are not good, toilets are broken, but every hostel has a great advantage- it is situated near the river Ganga so you can always go to the Ganga Ghats for refreshment and the other benefit is that every hostel is planted with many trees so the air is fresh and the environment is also calm and supportive for reading. One more important benefit is that you can get the hostel rooms at very low cost in a big city like Patna, it is about rs. 10000 for a year.
Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified but there are very few teachers after I left the college 3 or 4 teachers have joined so I think There should be no problem about that now. The teachers are very supportive and if one has interest in research field then they are ready to spend some extra time. The teaching methods are traditional there is a projector for holding smart class but it is really held. Student to Faculty ratio is now 1 : 10. This is the traditional course so there is no question of industry exposed, but the education was necessary for the research works. The course curriculum of M.Sc. is based on the syllabus of CSIR NET So overall all the teachers very good nature and are very knowledgeable they are all qualified and most of them are Ph.D.
Other: Generally there are no events held in the university but now many seminars on various scientific topics are being organised and money well known scientists of India are coming to attend it in the university students from other colleges also come to participate in did seminars the campus surrounding is very calm and peaceful as it is situated near the river Ganga just beside it the fees is quite low about 4500 per year so there is no such need of a scholarship and college does not provide any such scholarship. As far as extra curricular activities are concerned sports day is celebrated by the University once a year and apart from that farewell parties and Fresher parties are given by the students among themselves and as I said above various seminars are being organised on different scientific topics Sometimes some newspaper companies or some other company starts an event in the campus it is just like model hint show.
