Candidates seeking admission in MA Telugu, History, Culture & Tourism, Telugu, Jyothisham and Communication & Journalism have to pass PSTUCET conducted by the university. For all other MA specialisations, PSTU Hyderabad considers the merit of the candidates in the last qualifying exam for admission.

Candidates need to pass BA, BSc, BCom or any other UG degree from a recognised university to apply for PSTU Hyderabad MA course. It is an entrance exam conducted by the university for selecting candidates for admission. Once selected, aspirants have to report at the campus for document verification and fee payment to confirm their seat.

Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University selects candidates for PG Diploma in Yoga based on PSTUCET score. PSTUCET is conducted by the university for admission to various courses. For other PG Diploma courses, the university may considers the marks of the candidates in the last qualifying exam for admission. 

The University is not that costly. The course fee is also not very high. The most higher fees is of the course BFA in Sculpture and Painting which is INR 13.2K whereas, the cheapest is INR 700. Average goes up around INR 5000.
