For PRSU MA admissions, candidates have to submit academic certificates along with other important documents at the time of form filling and admission. These documents are required for verification purposes. Some of the important documents required are enlisted below:

4. Aadhar card
5. Transfer/Migration Certificate

PRSU MA total course fee includes several components such as tuition fee, hostel charges (if applicable), library caution money, identity card fee, laboratory caution money (in which there is a practical exam), alumni fee, etc. The fees for some of the components are further mentioned below:

Admission to MA courses in PRSU is based on merit in the PG entrance test conducted by the university. The university releases a merit list to announce the participant’s scores and the marks required for selection. There are multiple factors depending upon which the cutoff is determined such as aggregate marks of candidates in qualifying exams, number of applications received, seat intake, and the category of the candidate. Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University offers MA programmes on-campus and through its affiliated colleges. There are over 40 colleges. The table given below carries the names of some of the PRSU-affiliated colleges:

Admission process at PRSU is merit based, with the university accepting PRSU Entrance Exam/ National level entrance exams/ Class 12 scores for the same. Students are advised to check the exams specific to their preferred course that they must attempt, on the official portal of the university.

To apply for any of the UG/ PG courses at PRSU, candidates have to fill an application form along with paying the application fee of INR 400. The institute accepts both online and offline applications. For an offline application, aspirants can visit the university campus and buy the admission form.

Candidates must submit the scores of the last qualifying exams/PRSU entrance exam/national level entrance exams. After the completion of the selection rounds, students must attend the counselling process held by PRSU. Later on, round-wise merit lists are released for candidates who get selected for the respective courses at Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University.

During PRSU placements 2024 a total of 19 undergraduate (UG) students and 116 postgraduate (PG) students achieved placements. The median salaries for UG students in their third year and Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharma) graduates were INR 2.60 Lacs per annum (LPA) and INR 3 LPA, respectively. For first-year PG students, the median salary was noted at INR 2.5 LPA. Meanwhile, the median salaries for second-year and fifth-year PG students were INR 4.55 LPA and INR 3.25 LPA, respectively.

PRSU allows candidates to join UG courses directly based on merit. The university accepts Class 12 scores for the same, provided the candidate is eligible for his/her course. however, for PG and PG Diploma programmes along with certain UG courses, PRSU accepts national level entrance exams and PRSU PG entrance exam scores. The course- specific entrance exams and their syllabus are available on the official portal. Students are advised to check the portal for the same.

PRSU application process is conducted in both online and offline modes. For offline applications, candidates have to get the form from the university's official website. Candidates can check out the following steps to apply online:

1. Visit the PRSU official website (prsu.ac.in).
2. Click on the registration link and download the application.
3. Fill out the application form carefully.
4. Payment of the application fee, which is INR 400.
5. Submit the application form.

NOTE: For offline submission, candidates need to accompany the application form with a DD of INR 400 payable to the Registrar, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur. It must be noted that this fee is as per past years’ records and hence is indicative.
